Douglas Ferguson, it's an old one, called an alien egg. He still makes similar marbles but not sure if he makes any exactly like that one ?? I think all the fruit cocktail's (salad) and similar pelts have a transparent clear base, I can't really tell if the base is trans or opaque in those pix ?? I looked again and what looks like a black appears to have some clear in it ?? I wish there were some individual pix w/ multiple views for a more concise ID ??

If you were thinking of Alley Carnivals, yes, Black, red, and green are the same colors but I don't think those are carnivals or Alley, they are nice marbles and whoever outbid you I bet was banking on Carnivals not pistachios.

"Welcome to Marble Connection Brian" Cane cut Handmade Germans The large one might be German as well but I'm leaning more to contemporary @ this point, the rest appear to be machine mades from several different manufacturers, Peltier, Vitro, looks like a couple Akro and @ least one slag. There are some others but can't make a positive from one single view. Just guessing but this one (from what I can see of it) appears to be a clay marble (called a Bennington ?) Some more closeup and in depth pix w/ 3 or 4 different views of each marble showing any seams if possible are needed for a concise ID. & evaluation. Size can play a large roll also, measurements in fractions of an inch are best. Others will stop by w/ more ID's for ya, condition is 99% of value, rarity taking the other 1%

x2, not bifurcated, bifurcated is 2 different colors of base glass ( a between run marble) Peltier Bifurcated Dragon Bee (cross between a red bee and a dragon) Half Yellow base glass and half Green base glass (no av. in this one)

Akro, along w/ the other early hand gathered slags almost all had a 9 pattern and weare indistinguishable from many of the other early producers, they look very similar since they were made in exactly the same manner. MFC is a little more prominent 9 pattern and the glass itself is somewhat different. I'm not a slag expert, just going by the little I know on them.

Process of elimination has me leaning Akro on the 3 slags, "yes"
