Looked it up real quick and the gas station chain 76 in Washington state is reprogramming their pumps too accommodate $10 per gallon gasoline prices!

I heard that a week or so ago myself, on the morning news.

For Slags and Swirls Saturday, I am sharing my Imperial Glass slag pitchers. I remember the first one I ever saw, in Chad's collection. Fate would have it that not too many months later, I would stumble upon one of pretty much the same color combinations (the red one). Didn't pass it up! And at only 17 bucks. I found the chocolate pitcher a couple months later I think, for a little over 20 bucks. Love What Imperial has put out over the years 😊

Cool Beans, first week of radiation done! It's actually nice to be sitting here in my chair vs. Running out the door! So far, I feel pretty good. The only thing that doesn't feel good is the gas prices (As we all know). The National Average has officially hit $5 a gallon for the first time in history (this info is collected surveying 130,000 stations nationwide). 21 states are now at $5 or more a gallon. And indications are pointing to a National Average of $6 before or by Labor Day? Studies have shown that traveling has crept down a little but with Summer fast approaching, I can't see many people just sitting at home. Hopefully, I can get through this schedule before it hits $6!!

Actually got a little extra help today through my insurance. Going forward, my insurance is going to pay for a driver to shuttle me too and from Lacrosse for 3 out of the 5 weekday appointments. That's huge, especially with gas prices and the looming spectre that is side effects. Plus, the hospital sent my information too Kwik Trip Inc. and they granted me a few hundred bucks in gas cards! It's one of their many programs they are involved with. That was awesome news!

I'm also thinking that some of yours are actually from these All-Star sets.

I saw, and know, where I can get my hands on some similar marbles. The ones I saw are in "All-Star" 4 or 6 packs. They are unopened and the packaging is in good shape. From the 1990's I think. This dealer wants $25 each (he has 2). I believe there are 4 sets in this one. I can probably talk him down to $15. Going to do more research on them when given the chance. Next time I will provide pics when I'm there 😊

My first 3 days of radiation are behind, with today being my first double treatment day. This will be the case every week, first treatment shortly after 9am then the second one around 3:30pm. It's either find things to do in Lacrosse for almost 6 hours or drive 35-40 minutes back home just to go back again. The double treatment is due to them not conducting treatments on weekends. Double "graboid facehugger" Day! 😬

First day of radiation under my belt! They do 3 passes at 3 different angles, takes about 10 minutes. Worst part about it is the damn tight mask, but I "sort of" got used to it about half way through. I know that potentially the worst of this is yet to come. Hopefully very few side effects will happen. Stopped at Dollar Tree and Walmart, which wasn't bad. But decided to stop at Burger King on the way out of Lacrosse. Guess what. They can't break a $100 unless you buy almost that whole amount in food! That's all I had on me was that. Ran down the road to Kwik Trip. They couldn't break it! Went back towards Burger King and stopped at a Bank/Credit Union. Wouldn't break it unless I had an account! All I want is food people!!!! Screw it, went to Culver's who, after checking with them first, made change with a $23 purchase. Finally. I was told last Wednesday too start working towards a normal diet and I wanted my first fast food! After all this, leaving town was horrible. Back to back, 2 different drivers suddenly stop in front of me to make a left hand turn. After that, I'm approaching an intersection with a red light. Making a left hand turn in my direction is a taxi cab, but he's on my side of the road!!! Already on my last nerve, Patty's yelling because the guy isn't getting over onto his side of the road and I'm honking like crazy and baring my "2 best fingers". Finally he swerves over! Last but not least, bridge construction, which we didn't know about until turning onto the bridge, had too make a last second cut too my right before I ran out of road. Cut this poor lady off but hey, my last 30 minutes was worse than her 2 seconds! Hopefully the next 29 trips aren't as eventful!!!
