  1. These patches are hard to find at 3/4". Most of them seem to be 9/16"( or under) or around 7/8" to one inch. 5/8" are not an easy find----believe it or not. I have hunted these for years for 5/8" marbles--I still need some. Nice ones--they came in a variety of colors and a variety of fill with the oxblood, the blue and ox appear to be the most common--to me at least. Marble--On!!
  2. Hang in there Annie--you will get it figured out--I am sure of it. I cannot wait to see it--Patience my friend---and by the way--- Welcome!! Marble--On!!
  3. Trust--enough said. Good luck and continue to grow your reputation. I wish you well. Marble--On!!
  4. Open them or not--I would open them. They are very cool.----They are very cool to hold and look at once they are cleaned. Marble--On!!

    My Garden

Ontario Smoke from the wild fires. This smoke is coming from the North-East of me--very weird, as it has been all year. These shots show what should be a cloudless--blue sky. I have had 1 1/2" of rain since the last snowfall---a long time. My well is taking a pounding. I collect rainwater for my gardens--not much so far---Uggggh. This is called gardening--not growing--I am doing my best this year. Garden on!!
  6. I think that you are on the right track--nice color! Marble--On!!
  7. yep! Thanks for sharing--Top Notch! Marble--On!!
  8. Nice images Shazzy. The green one is odd to me. I have not seen many like that. It may be a Bennington, or a glazed clay of some other sort. Bennies usuall have some sort of eye on the surface. The happened because they stacked them so close when they fired them that the glaze left a mark where they touched. The bottom one is a clay of some other sort imho. Marble--On!!
  9. Here is a nice little Vitro Parrot at 5/8”. Marble--On!!
  10. Agreed--keep the faith--this too will pass.
  11. I think that the Sparkler blew us all right by the other one--nice Sparkler mccracken!! I would love to see some more images of the big one--probably a Vitro---buuuuuttttttt??? Marble--On!!
  12. Welcome to “The Marble Connection” Shazzy. The top left is a Vacor Galaxy from Mexico The middle row—the last two on the right are WVS or West Virginia Swirls. No maker from me. The others are clay marbles known as “Benningtons”. The multi colored ones are very nice. I would love to see some more images of the top row—the middle one and the one to the right of it as well. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  13. MKx2. The green in this one for such a big size is very nice. Marble--On!!

  23. I will stand by my assessment. We all want what is not—. Great discussion! I just love this stuff!!! Just love it! Research and research some more---then do it again and again---Just do not convince yourself of something that it is not, without it, the research. I wish that it was a CAC---really I do. Enuff said from little old me. Marble—On!!
