  1. Nice call Fire--it could be a Vacor "Alien"--a very weak one though. Marble--On!!
  2. They are all very nice cheese--the first image has my heart pumping--love it! Marble--On!!
  3. Killer for sure!! Nice images! Marble--On!!
  4. Not too shabby cheese! Marble--On!!
  5. In my experience, Master Made marbles are nice round hard feeling marbles with few surface defects or out of roundness detectable. I would lean towards an Asian made marble here. I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more on this one. Nice marble—none the less! Marble—On!!
  6. I agree-it could be either. Marble--On!!
  7. "ToysRus" Fire--I passed on many myself--including Atmos. Oh well "Forward" is my state motto--I agree. Marble--On!!
  8. You are looking for the slits, these show up in Akro game marbles or "solids" as well--just a tell that it is an Akro--the "fisheye" will flow around the entire marble as you backlight it while turning it--sometimes the fisheye will be limited to the slits—sometimes not—it depends upon the depth of the marble. I wish that I could show you this in an image—not yet—I have tried—many times. Marble—On!!
  9. The red one may actually be an Akro “Flintie”—they come in a variety of looks, some look very opaque in hand and some will not. Backlight it and look for a pronounced “fisheye” effect no matter how you turn it. “Flinties “are opalescent—hard to tell with the red ones though. The green one—looks like an Akro to me. Marble—On!!
  10. Nice marble for sure Joe2. I love this one—nice marble for sure!! Vacor? Or WVS—I love it just the same. Marble—On!!
  11. I do not blame you for keeping it in your pocket for a week or so. It is a nice one. Vacors will be dug out of your "jug" in the years to come, they made some bad ones but some are just real nice. Marble-On!!
  12. #2 is a WVS—no maker from me #3 is a very nice Jabo—very nice! I appreciate all opinions and welcome some more on these. Marble—On!!
  13. Either is what you have😁. I like these big ones. Marble--On!!
  14. I agree with Step--the last image kinda blew the yellow out on the last one---Pelt PP imho. Marble--On!!
  15. "Fiesta"--yes--nice one--nice coverage. Is this a bigger marble? No Pontil--Vacor trait with the badly rounded seams/folds--especially in the bigger ones. Marble--On!!
  16. The transparent glass throws me off---yet--it could be? Marble--On!!
  17. These are up for debate but they did show up in the "Later" Akro #230 and #300 boxes. Master Glass did put some of these out after they purchased Akro, supposedly using old Akro stock marbles. Just my humble opinion--as I remember it anyhow. Marble--On!!
  18. Nice Rainbo. Marble--On!!
  19. This sure looks like one (St. Marys?) Marble--On!!

    Jabo?

I would call this one a Vitro '"All Red". Nice one! Marble--On!!
  21. I do not think that is a good way to age them, boxes are the best way to get an idea of age--if they are not backfilled. Alot of colors of Akroware has a glow to it. I just checked they wifes display and it seems that pink and jade green do not have the glow--small sample I know but worth checking on. Marble--On!!
  22. To tell the truth--this one reminds me of an Akro "Lemon-drop". Not too common--an older collectors name--they usually have some more twist to them. Nice marble--Nice size. Thanks for sharing it. Marble--On!!
  23. If I was collecting the Akroware instead of marbles--I would have a bunch of "amber"--I like it--even more now, thanks to your revelation. Good find!
  24. Thanks for the offer. The truth is, my wife is not a big fan of amber pieces--I had to look like heck to find this one. It must have come too cheap to pass on😁. Each to their own👌. Marble--On!!
