  1. The seams and the colors both. I have had enough of these big Akros in hand to know one when I see one. The lower left is a newer MK imho. MK made a lot of "Rainbows"--- the later they are, the less bands that they have. Many here can push it into a more subjective conclusion. The Vitro is just a gut thing—when in doubt ---go with your gut. Marble—On!!
  2. What a quote! Your phone has more computing power than the moon missions had. I could get a new PC for what they cost--lol. I still use a flip phone--rarely🥸. Marble--On!!
  3. Opinions are what drives this board--never be afraid to state one. You will not be beat down or chastised here for any opinion that you may have. If you ever are—it will be corrected post-haste. There are few marble experts here—just a bunch of seasoned collectors that learn something new every day. (There are some experts that post here but I will not name them because they are humble experts). Anyhow—your assessment was the thing that drove me to ID this one as a MK---good job---good eye!! Marble—On!!
  4. The site is listed by my browser ( I use a PC) as "not secure". It has been for awhile. I just click advanced and go there--no problems--just keep your back covered with anti this and that. Marble--on!!
  5. Nice images. I believe that the top two are Akro. The bottom left is a MK and the bottom right is a Vitro. All opinions are appreciated and welcomed. Marble--On!!
  6. These are tuff ones. WVS imho. Marble--On!!
  7. Here is my first brick. It was my Grandfathers. A first brick is always a good brick--I love the old beat up ones and I still rescue them from the dumpsite if no one else bids. Marble--On!!
  8. I use this stuff for rust spots with lots of water involved--the finer grit the better. https://www.amazon.com/Assorted-Flavored-Professional-Strength-Polish/dp/B00Z7YQ35A/ref=sr_1_7?crid=36YU16KGPGTJT&keywords=tooth+polish&qid=1679337347&sprefix=tooth+polish%2Caps%2C116&sr=8-7 Marble--On!!
  9. This is the way! I want them all to be Akro. Marble--On!!
  10. Kugler Glass?? Nice stuff Ron. Marble--On!!
  11. Nice find Mojo! I have never seen such a thing. Were they made in Mexico?? Marble--On!!
  12. Ooooh, this is a tuff one--it sure glows! The third image tells the tale for me. It could be a weak on the "white" hand-gathered slag---or not--I am a dreamer. Marble--On!!
  13. A small jar full of these non descript clays will go for $80 on Ebay as a decorative item. Non collectors eat them up for a display. The Benningtons are just a cool marble. They will go from under 1/2" to over an inch in diameter. They are fun to hold and handle and come in a variety of colors--sometimes three or more colors. The eyes are from the kiln “cooking” process where they were sitting against each other during the firing, the glaze that was applied just stuck to the one it was sitting next to. Who does not love a” bennie”? Marble—On!!
  14. No sorry here--if you wonder--post it--I do the same thing. Nice marble! Marble--On!!
  15. Welcome to this new and exciting adventure that you may never be able to look back on eric L. Hold on to your seat and get ready to become a marble addict. Show us what you have and get hooked like the rest of us. Marble--On!!
  16. There is a book due out pretty soon from a dude in Alaska of all places--Andy--is his first name I believe. Keep your eyes peeled. Marble--On!!
  17. That is a funny thing. The more common blue and red PPP is hard to find with a comic--go figure! Thanks Chad--good stuff for sure!! Marble--On!!
  18. Those Akro that you have in the original post are not--too shabby as well! I just have to say this Pelts are cool-Akros are king!! Marble--On!!
  19. I do not believe that I have one like this--Very nice indeed! Marble--On!!
  20. I wish that I knew. Emma is common--but with color? All opinions are welcomed and needed. Here she is! Marble--On!!
  21. X2--Nice older one imho. Marble--On!!
  22. Or not--some folks like a good fracture--I do. Character in marbles is a thing that I have always looked for. “Mint” is not always the thing to rest on in the collecting world. Collect what you like and like what you collect—just never expect to make money on what you have collected, just have fun and pull the reigns in from the pocketbook. Marble—On!!
  23. Good job folks! We wore a newbie out. I cannot wait to see his next--when he catches his breath😉. Keep them coming!! Marble--On!!
  24. Nuf said😁! Marble--On!!
