The board was obviously down and out earlier today.
We have been invaded lately by a variety of spam dealers and bad inter-web folks.
My thanks go out to the ones that worked hard to get us back on track to enjoy this site.
Hats off to @bumblebee, @Chad G. and @Steph for all of the work that they do to keep this place from becoming a mess.
If I missed anyone--just let me know--hats off to you as well!
Marble—On!!
The term "Fire Opals" is up for discussion.
There are a few boxes of “Fire Opals” out there on the interweb that show what I believe are "Flinties” from earlier sales pitches.
“Flinties” and “Fire Opals” both came in a variety of colors. All of these marbles should try at least to show some opalescence. The greens are hard to find opal in—you really have to have an imagination with them. I still think that white “Flinties” are “Moonies” that are renamed.
Yours is a red “Flintie” at the very least as long as it shows some ‘Opal”. Akro game marbles and “Solids” will also show the little slits that are commonly associated with “ Flinites” or “Fire Opals”.
These red ones will light up with opal when back lit.

My Mini Cooper actually told me to drive it more last week. The Battery was getting drawn down and it needed a better charge. Too much stress on the battery if you do not drive everyday with all of the add ons that I never use--the cold weather does not help either.
I listened to it--I love driving that car, WV would be a fun place to drive it for sure. Hills, valleys and curves--it would make me and my car quite happy.
Speed will kill me before any marbles lost will😁.
G-Force--On!!
I agree with Chad 100%.
This is why I give my best.
The bottom left--Vitro
The top two may be Peltier.
The bottom right is just a weird WVS with cutoff marks
Just my humble opionion😁.
More opinions and images are needed here.
Marble--On!!
I will admit that this one threw me for a loop. I had to get the microscopic headgear out for this one.
The AV is in a line between the green and the darker—olive drab green.
There is a bit of Ox mixed in.
It has to be a Jabo.
This is a small one that rivals any----any, of the bigger ones that I have ever seen.
This one is just in between 9/16” and 5/8”.
No idea of the run—maybe a fluke?
The seller had a polished “Sparker”( hate it—just hate to see it) in with this lot—the seller lost—I won!
And that “Sparkler” will never see the light of day again.
You just never know do ya? Money well spent.
Marble—On!!!
The "Canadian" thing is stiif up for grabs Joe2. The marketing question is a good point with these.
It is a nice marble.
The one above it--the blue and white one--well it just curls my hammer toes a bit further. I jusy love it and I hope that you get some answers--if not, post it in the ID section---just a killer marble.
Marble--on!!
The top two are swirls imho.
I do not see any Pelts amongst the others.
The swirls are all WVS of some type---more opinions are needed here.
Nice marbles!
Marble--On!!
The top left looks a bit muted for an Akro, it could be a Master.
Vitro had a green like this, Patches are tuff.
I would probably sort the bright green ones as Akro but then again, I want them all to be Akro😁.
Marble--On!!
The bottom left may be a swirl.
The top left looks like a hand gathered slag as well as the top right one.
The bottom right is a slag. It could be hand gathered as well--hard to say.
Marble--On!!
