How early are the "Feathered Slags"? I have no Idea. Marble--On!!

Welcome Melissa, There are many here that collect---more than marbles. We all love uranium glass and marbles that glow as well. You can find posts on rocks here and beads too. I am not the only one that plants perrenials that posts here and I do enjoy a great garden of flowers and vegetables. Show us what you have as far as marble go in the ID section if you are wondering or in the general marble and glass chat if you already know. Once again, a hardy welcome to you. Marble--On!!

What I am trying to say is that marbles such as the Vacor "Arctic Bear" were something else before they were "frosted". They did not come off the rollers "frosted". Whatever this "something else" is--I cannot say or find. Marble--On!!

You have to admit Chad that some of the Pelt "Feathered" slags make you wonder (I have anyhow). Some of them are white as white can be. Marble--On!!

They are a pair of pretty cool turkeys. I would not push this one to a CAC though---WVS but a nice one. No maker from me this time🤪. Marble--On!!

Jabos can fool ya. Most are run of the mill, then you get one like this. The last two images look like a Jabo. Marble--On!!

Get some nice out of finger--cropped images and post the size and try to get a backlit image to boot. A UV shot would be nice as well. Get both poles/cutoffs along with the pretty stuff. Well worth it. Marble--On!!

Fire, All of the frosted marbles from Vacor started out as something else. Just sayin-- Marble--On!!

That is one of the best that I have ever seen. I will stick with Vitro Hybrid Cateye. This one is worth a re-post on its own in the ID section for more opinions. I always love more opinions and you will get the very best here. That is a very nice cats eye. Marble--On!!

Here are some Vitro "Caged cats". They can get pretty wild with all colors. These are my "wildest". Drive safe. Marble--On!!

Here is a nice Pre contract run Jabo @ 31/32”. Just a killer larger sized Jabo. Marble—On!!

This one got a good ID from the folks here at The Marble Connection. A nice 5/8” Ravenswood. Thanks all and Marble—On!!

They are pretty cool, I must admit. Nice thick layers of glass along with a transparent red streak. It seems like the transparent glass covers it all like a clear-cote on an automotive finish Marble--On!!

The white hit marks on this one make me lean towards Jabo. Nice one though. All opinions are appreciated. Marble—On!!

Lets guess the size at 9/16”. It looks like it is a Cat-eye to me, probably a Vitro “Hybrid” it could be a Vitro “Caged Cat” out of control though. More images are needed. Marble—On!!

Well Fire, There are no Vacor’s that I could find that are not either "frosted" or come with a "Iridescent" finish that meet up with yours. That of course does not mean that they did not make one like yours. I will stick with Vacor here. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
