  1. Wow, that is a big chunk. Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing an image of it. Marble--On!!
  2. We all have some sorting to do. This is us—the marble collectors of the world. Luckily, I have a great watch pig that watches over the unsorted so they do not get out of line—too much anyhow. He is my only restraint. He looks determined, but he does give a little. Marble—On!!
  3. Try Succulents Steph—my wife did and that is all that she collects now. They overwinter well inside and do not take up too much room. Not too fussy either. Green is good in the winter in Wisconsin.
  4. mm ARE WORSE. Amazon sells many-cheaper than Marbles--get one along with some good pen-lights and a UV light as well. Marble--On!!
  5. Good call Alan! Marble--On!!
  6. I would call it a later version of thre "All Red". It looks a bit "Greasy" or extra glossy---chromic almost---the finish I mean. The black part is more than likely a form of plum or purple if backlit. They made some very nice ones in this format. Marble--On!!

    Vacor?

Peltier MCS or "multi colored Swirl"--it looks like it is in nice shape. I love these, Size?? Marble--On!!

    Vitro?

Left to right-- Vitro, Vitro--Opalescent glass?, Vitro, Vitro--and what looks like a Master to me. I like the Master looking one. It may be a wacked out red slag but I am guessing red based "Brushed Patch Master"--Very thick on the "brushed"--it is not a Vitro imho. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!
  9. This is a fun one. I appreciate all opinions and look forward to a positive ID on all marbles posted. I would love this one to be an Akro—believe me; I want them all to be Akro. Based on the damage shown—not “dug out of the ground” damage as almost every Akro with AV is, but played with damage, more common in this group of images to a Peltier than an Akro. The colors in the AV, Greens and reds which do not show up in the Akro Black AV that I have seen and the distinct possibility of the base glass being Opal----is it??. The bleeding of the black over the white is also more common with Peltiers than it is with Akro Agate marbles. I will stick with it being a Peltier Patch. These Pelt Patches will be all over the place, drizzle, lack of color, too much color, weird swirls, and funky cutoff marks, and very often with AV included. Cut-lines lie all of the time and Peltiers do this often. Of course, having it in hand will always be the best. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble—On!!
  10. Champion maybe--just sayin. Champion has a bunch of this color floating around with "a nice "Metallica" streak in them. I will post one below--Rock On!!
  11. Vitro X2. Missing a good chunk but a good ID. Marble--On!!
  12. Some "newer" MK's is a good call here imho. All opinions are welcomed and appreciated. Marble--On!!

    Vitro?

There may be three Vitro there. Better images are needed to make sure. The middle right one looks interesting---It looks like a nice one--Master Made imho. Marble--On!!
  14. Welcome Iceburg, Nothing beats Grandmas marbles. All of us here at The Marble Connection look forward to your posts and image of your marbles. Try to keep the posts in the ID section to three or four marbles, and give us several nice bright images of each one. Once again a hardy welcome to you and, Marble—On!!
  15. The left hand one is more than likely a Master. The right hand one needs more light for a positive ID, it may be a real nice Vitro and is worth a few more images, Marble--On!!
  16. Ok then, a Ravenswood it is. I will have to start picking out some more "Champions". Thanks all! Marble--On!!
  17. The size on these is a small 5/8"--I should know better than to not post the size. Size matters is one of my favorite quotes. Thanks all!
  18. Four marbles from a rookie at WVS ID. Ravenswood Ric is back on the job this winter so I expect some results from him. Here are my thoughts. Left top Heaton Right top Ravenswood blue Raven Left lower Ravenswood swirl Right lower –well duh??? I cannot call it --yet!! Thanks for all of your input and opinions, I appreciate them all. Marble—On!!
  19. Here is link link to a box on ebay Ric. https://www.ebay.com/itm/314289015600?hash=item492d15cb30:g:7nEAAOSwB0djpKLD&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAkJKH0rayW0JWRUwyxK3H6ODUZWxeLnVfGOGqiL5PCkXfXC8Qq47YWHxMSVfYKBr7dWTLJ5fxXtDTh89O9ekaJljWSNEk1bWY9kOcimFSmjmfn%2F9Yet8peQmeYMxkjc29wNDSB9%2FI07j5Z1MKRx6qgJePLj02uVxhjJc0QTnnni2HGhavwWQksB7MyvXv75%2Fpug%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR6rKgZ6oYQ Check it out. Marble--On!!
  20. Thanks Ric, The brown in the backilight has me wondering. It is more obvious in hand under direct light. Why should I get distracted--lol? As always, I appreciate all input. That is a nice Alley that you posted Ric! One vote for Ravenswood/Alley and I respect it--any others?? Marble--On!!
  21. I appreciate your try at a black backgound--it just does not work. The first one may be a Pelt. The second two are more than likely Pelt Rainbos. The last one???? The black try at backgound does it no justice--maybe an Imperial. Marble--On!!
  22. That is an odd and very nice looking patch type marble. Uggh as Steph would say---- I will lean towards Vitro here with a slight ---- well not so slight--- mention of Akro. Marble--On!!
