  1. Given the two choices--Alley. I love a good flat Marble!! Marble--On!!
  2. OK, those are Mega marbles--made by Vacor. Mega has not been around for some time--just another name for a Vacor. Trust me here--or not. I gave my best here and appreciate your input as well. Marble--On!!
  3. You are doing OK--(I like it). Just a tad more cropping action. Marble--On!!
  4. Good idea--this one is special imho. Marble--On!!
  5. More than likely an Old Alley Agate imho. I do not really even think that it was dug--maybe some fire damage. Marble--On!!
  6. Your last one is an Akro Oxblood Patch--a very nice find! Marble--On!!
  7. 3-4 at a time with good well cropped images and several angles. Sunlight is the best light. We will do our best here to help you with your ID. Marble--On!!
  8. "Smoke Jumper" Just a dream Fire--you woke up and found these after a bad jump. Now you are on the ice--I wonder why🤪. Marble--On!!
  9. I agree here. Marble--On!!
  10. WVS--no maker from me--- Marble--On!!
  11. Your last image in this post shows Akro on the two bottom rows--all are corkscrews--nice ones. The top row--left to right shows an Akro Cornelian--they used to call these bricks so excuse the seller-the final three are all Pelts. A "Ketchup and Mustard", a nice "Citrus"(imho) and a wild "Rainbo". I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more. Marble--On!!
  12. Hmmmm, I have a bunch of Vacor and I researched them for years now. "Super Nova" is a new name to me. (Vacor has a lot of names to keep up with so excuse me here---Vacor has been guilty of renaming marbles for years) I would call all of these "Spumoni". ( I thought that they were retired?) I am just and old Fart with old Vacor names in my mind. Nice marbles regardless of the name--nice collection as well. Marble--On!!
  13. Akro my marble collecting friend. Marble--On!!

    Vacor?

Frit marbles are made yet today--by many marble companies throughout the world. The first ones were made by folks actually standing next to the rollers and throwing/tossing/spreading glass bits--or frit on the hot, out of the oven marble on the rollers. I am sure that this has been refined a bit--at least I hope that it is. They are a very hard marble to ID unless you are like Al, with some original packaging. The most desirable are the ones that Vitro tried--they are rare and without proper history or providence--I would never bid on one. I like them--but they all look quite the same to me. Marble--On!!
  15. Slow down here folks. Some members have been accused of "trolling". That does not mean blood in the water. Lets try to be nice and put the past behind us and move on. We were all Rookies at one time or another--I took my lumps for sure. I just corrected my approach and continue to do so still to this day. Marble--On!!

    No clue

Size is always an important Factor in Marble ID. I am now convinced that this one is a Peltier Rainbo. It is a nice one for sure. These bigger marbles do not show up like the smaller ones--and visa virsa--the peewees also may be a hard ID compared to the 5/8" or 9/16" that we are all used to seeing--the 3/4" seem to fall in line pretty well. Nice find! Marble--On!!

It might just be a wonky Pelt Rainbo.
  18. This one is more than likely a WVS--I would guess Ravenswood here. Marble--On!!
  19. Wow--that is a very big moon damage on this one. it probably met up with a steelie--ouch! Thanks for sharing it. Marble--On!!
  20. I would consider Peltier here. Marble--On!!
  21. I am leaning towards a "Popeye Patch" here. Marble--On!!
  22. These used to be called bricks--it is an Akro Cornelian imho. (Not Carnelian) This one should show light trough it even though it looks solid or opaque. Nice find!! Marble--On!!
  23. A very nice corkscrew! Marble--On!!
