  1. That’s better, it has been revealed. It is a very nice marble for sure. The one on the left is not an oxblood, it is a red and white WestVirginiaSwirl of some make and model. Marble—On!!
  2. MK is the King😁 of veneered marbles. Master Glass made veneered patches. Probably a few others as well. Marble--On!!
  3. Silver Oxbloods usually have no UV reaction, I think that the OP is a Lemonade Ox. Its just the lighting playing tricks. Sunlight should reveal the true nature of this one Marble--On!!
  4. This is a great bunch of marbles—very nice images as well. They all look to be mint---hard to believe. They look new and they look old as well. This is a tuff ID. I will call them Akro Agate----- More opinions’ are needed for sure---and welcomed. Marble On !!
  5. Thanks Chad, Some great eye candy being sold there. Shipping is only five gallons of gas--not too bad. I am really digging these two that are up for sale. Marble--On!!
  6. It is a very nice Jabo Lumbo with some great images. Keep them coming and keep hunting. You will find a CAC someday. Marble--On!!
  7. AkroX2--another great set of images as well. Marble--On!!
  8. Nice images! The marble is not too shabby either. Marble--On!!
  9. Killer image here, I agree---Very nice! Marble--On!!
  10. I never am too fussy about the pattern on a corkscrew, twists etc. The thing is with corks is that they all usually have a cutoff mark on both ends that will tell the tale, not always but usually. I alway determine a corkscrew by what it was meant to be and they do not always flow like collectors would like them to. Collect corkscrews, look for the pattern/cutoffs and expand your collection. With the exception of slags, most Akros Agates to be sold as gamers were to meant be corkscrews ( yes I know--they made a bunch of others, solids, clearies, swirls, patches--etc, etc.) Never doubt any colors combinations---not any!!! Marble--On!!
  11. Well, this is a very tuff one to ID. There are a very few that can ID these but they are not around that often. There are however folks around this board that can point you in the right direction. Brian Graham is my suggestion. I do not know how to contact him though. He does have a website--try him out. Marble--On!!
  12. I am not afraid to say that I used to toss MK’s aside while sorting a group, there were just way too many! I did keep the odd and mint ones—just because, well I am a collector after all. I am an Akro purist and do not regret a thing, this is the nature of collecting🙈. The names that MK’s have received over the years is mind boggling and I have never kept up with them. (I will never forget Bumble-Bees just because of a childhood encounter) Now I am purchasing a few---who knew----keep them all---I did---I just have a lot of sorting to do. Marble—On!!
  13. Well Gladys, I am giving my opinion based on what they look like backlit. They sure look like "Furnace" Marbles when back-lit---not that they are. Backlight them all for sure! More opinions are always welcomed. Marble--On!!
  14. From big to small--Nice ones Gladys! Marble--On!!
  15. That is a real "Killer" marble mibcapper--nuff said. Marble--On!!
  16. I still have not figured out what this one is--- MK I think-- Marble--On!!
  17. I would have too! An image or three of these individually will get better ID results. Show the cutlines and--- Marble--On!!
  18. I am going to type Champion on these--- More opinions are needed and are more than welcomed. Backlight them all!! and of course---as always Marble--On!
  19. Yes Lumbo---not a Pelt---no way---never, not even close! Sometimes we get so carried away that we may forget the original question . There are a whole bunch of marble nuts here and you may have to sort through the responses to get a good Idea. This was a great post and by you and I recognize what your original question was. Keep them coming, my marble collecting friend. There are very few marbles or questions that we will shy away from here. The one that you posted is a Nice Alley Agate Swirl😃. Marble—On!!

    Vitros

I do not see Vitro here, but I do like a Bump Up!! Marble--On!!
  21. I think that this one may be an Akro. These blue and yellow colors really did not corkscrew well together. Just my thoughts--- Marble—On!!
  22. Here is a nice pile of Akro “Flinties”. The dark green one is 11/16”. I just love these marbles. Marble—On!!
  23. A nice Champion Furnace marble without any fractures is a very good find indeed. Here is a bunch from a digger that I like—not too shabby imho. Champ made some nice ones! Marble—On!!
  24. I do not think that it is a Vacor. It is not a Peltier marble. I do not agree with CAC. I have seen a few of these big ones and I always thought that were Alley Agate. There is one buried in this set of images. More opinions are welcomed/needed. Marble—On!!
