I am getting some Vacor "Rooster" vibes from this one. Marble--On!!

Just a bump-- Nice marble. Marble--On!!

It looks to be a hand-gathered—machine rounded marble—“transitional”. MFC would be a good choice imho. Marble—On!!

Akro sounds good to me. Marble--On!!

It is a purple slag. The light is playing tricks--no blue imho. Marble--On!!

Akro is a good call on this one, that thinner light green streak will probably light up under UV. Marble—On!!

Imperial X2 William. Marble--On!!

I am considering the smooth alongside the rough striations in the glass, the deep fingernail scraping seams and what looks like nil-rolled pockets in the orange. This one may have been one of the first off the rollers and I’ll bet that the many thousands that were made behind it looked a bit different---oops😬, there I go again---blah blah—oh well. These are my thoughts😁. Marble—On!!

Be carefull Leigh, Jabos sneak up out of nowhere. Is there any blue in this marble--even a little tiny bit? Marble--On!!

I looked at this marble for a long time. There appears to be some weird little melted areas on it that look like play damage but I think that they are factory made damage. This one would be a great one to take to a show and show around, they are always better in hand. If I had to guess I would say that this is a one-off that is more than likely smaller than what was being produce at its time of manufacture. I would venture to say that it came from a dig site. Which dig site—no comment—one of many. I know---blah blah blah, marbles will do that to me. Cool marble— Marble—On!!

I think that you have a nice big Vitro there. I suppose that you could call it a “Buttermilk Type” but it is lacking some colors to be a “Buttermilk” imho. As always, more opinions are needed and always welcomed. Nice marble—very nice. Marble—On!!

Those Vitro are pretty cool imho and they are not too common. Kind of a blob on a blob. Marble--On!!

Yes, I can see myself tossing a penny in just to see what would happen---like putting a penny on the railroad tracks. I remember my brother putting a toad (dead one) in a can of peas’ at the local cannery. We were/are all capable of mischief---yum-yum toad and peas! Marble—On!!

I might add that these Vitro came in a number of different color combos---I knew the name and really wanted to remember it---the grey matter lost it, try as it may. Steph had listed the name a few years back---I cannot find it. Oh well—help is always needed for all of us. If I do not write a list—all is lost. Marble—On!!

I am going to toss this out there—other opinions are more than welcomed. Akro, Akro, Vitro(I wish that I could remember the name—they were marketed with a name) and Heaton---left to right. The Heaton may have Oxblood. Just my opinion--- more are needed. Marble—On!!

Hmmm, another garage disaster--- Blame it on the dog--or cat--Chipmunk’s maybe— Raccoons are notorious for screwing things up, blaming it on the dog/cat/wife/kids and of course playing with marbles. I vote Raccoons. Raccoons love marbles. (I am 1/4 Raccoon, so I know) Marble—On!!
