  1. I have posted a few images below. Vacor "Earth” is correct, from 2015 earlier or later. Mega had a few different package designs that these sets came in. Vacor via Mega put these sets out. “Oceans of the World and “Solar System”, there may be a few more that I am not aware of. If your “Earth” came from one of these sets it should measure in @ 5/8”. The set that I show is marked 2015 it was beat up so I opened it for further investigation. The “Earth” marble will show blue and green speckles on what appears to be a semi transparent base—a very pretty marble indeed. The “Earth” marble was made with the same methods as the Vacor “Galaxy” and yours may have been one that came out of a net of “Galaxies”, some of these were named and some were not, yours is an “Earth” Marble—On!!
  2. I will agree with Champion just because of the crossover between them and Jabo. They do look like Jabo but they also look like Champion from the later years. I do not see the hit marks on my PC and this is my lean--Champion, for that reason. They are not worth a whole bunch of money--that can be agreed one for one thing. It is a good topic for discussion however. Marble--On!!
  3. This is a tuff one for sure but imho the first two images show the same cutline. The last image shows the other. The rest of the images show MFC hand-gathered to me, no CAC. More opinions are needed for sure—this is just mine. Nice find! Marble—On!!
  4. My first thought was Champion and I will post an image of why I agree wtih Ric. A bunch of dug Champions are posted below. Check out the RWB ones--very cool, just not yours. Marble--On!!
  5. I get you Ric, the staples are way too rusty to open and curiousity always kills the cat---but I know that you would like an answer, just because--. I for one, support you either way. Marble--On!!
  6. First of all, it may be rare. I think that this one is more than likely a Master Made Marble Second of all check out the images. The damage appears to be melted into/out of the marble. I have not seen any “dug Masters”, this may be one. Or, who in their right mind would torch a Master. The rest of the damage says otherwise. I just purchased it and I will let you all know. This is my way, if I see something weird I will buy it for a reasonable price just to get a handle on it. Some folks spend more than this on beer in one day—not me—lol. Thanks for the heads up! Marble—On!!
  7. I have seen them—online, the nets. I have never had one in hand. Soooo- is it a straight up Cleary? I have seen many Akro "clearies" that will exhibit the maker from either backlighting or UV light. The backlighting takes a dark room and an enclosed light that the marble can sit on as does the UV experiment. You can do it through a net—not so easy in a poly bag. This, believe it or not may me a clue as to who really made these. I wish you luck Ric, Marble—On!!

    NLR ?

Pelt works for me Mojo, I am not too sure about it being a NLR though. It does resemble a MK---- A nice "Rainbo"? Marble--On!!
  9. I have done this more times that I am willing to admit--from e-bay. This is usually where the curiosity kills the cat. Marble--On!!
  10. Pretty cool Joe2. Vacor Oxblood? Very cool. Marble--On!!
  11. Post away FannyPacks, We all love a good marble or several to look at. Marble--On!!
  12. Oooohoo!!! Very cool indeed! I am detecting some opalescent glass in your images. I cannot call this one other than very cool. (Vitro?) More opinions are needed for sure. Marble—On!!
  13. Is this even a thing? Is it a Pelt “Girl Scout” or is it just a new aged social media named marble? I know Girls Scouts as MK—very nice marbles imho. If you know me, I am really not into names but I will call this one at just a few hairs over 5/8” a NLR until I am corrected. The image on the end is a Pelt “ChristmasTree” dug piece—I just love this stuff. Is this an older piece or a newer piece? (I have always tought of this color combo as “Older”) Thanks—and-- Marble—On!!
  14. Here are two images of an Akro Milky @7/8". I love to see the guts of any marble; it is just another form of id in our world I just received this marble in a trade from a valued friend. Note the intense opaqueness of the white---- and it is very white. Akro “Milkies” imho were some of the worst oxbloods ever made and some of the worst made by Akro. The quality control seems like it was bypassed in favor of production. A very minty, with no factory defects, Akro “Milky” is a thing to cherish imho. Alley made one quite similar—the quality is just much better and the swirling is off the charts. The colors are spot on with both imho. Marble—On!!
  15. Burnt Spiderman?? I love the blow hole--thanks for showing it. More opinions are needed. Marble--On!!
  16. You show a bunch of “solids” here which are very hard to ID even in hand. The last image has a mix of makers including the red black and white based one which may be an Akro corkscrew. There are quite a few in this mix which I may consider as dug from the Akro site but quite a few that came from other makers such as Marble King, Vitro and Ravenswood-etc. Spread these out and give us a better shot. Marble—On!!
  17. What a mix, the two big ones on the left of the first image are more than likely Vacor "Wavebreakers". The second image, the purple and yellow one--could be an Akro Cork--very nice! The one on it's left is for sure a cork imho--nice one. Who can deny that a nice mint "Sparkler" is a great find--killer find. Marble--On!!
  18. Give us all some history on these marbles. The rwb ones are probably a mix of different companies but there are some killer marbles there for sure. Many makers made rwb swirls. The green ones at the end of your post, the one on the left, is more than likely an Akro Patch. I am not willing to blame Jabo for any of these. WVS all imho. You may have a few Ravenswood included here. More opinions are needed and always welcomed. Nice group! Marble--On!!
  19. So do I Fire, I agree with Chad and all of his Vacor ID's on this thread. The OP is a Vacor imho. Still--a nice marble--just not a Pelt. Marble--On!!
  20. Here is an image of a "jobber box" full of Akro Milkies. The white is very opaque and backlighting just shows more white. None of these even comes close to the color that you show in your backilt image. Hope this helps. Marble--On!!
  21. You will get it sooner or later, it is nothing to fret about. We have all been there and done that. Not all marbles can be Identified--plain and simple. I appreciate your tenacity for sure. Marble--On!!
  22. It is Pretty for sure! It is a contemporary marble imho, Check for any marks from the maker, usually just an initial. Marble--On!!
  23. https://marbleconnection.com/topic/28270-it-is-the-time-of-the-year-to-give-and-i-give-you-flinties-my-best-research/#comment-245653 This is my best Mellisa. Marble--On!!
