    Mrs.

If you can post some pictures of 4 or so marbles at a time with different views of the marbles in separate pics, we can try and help you.
  2. Some of mine that I put together many moons ago...
  3. I have not been to the Orange County Show for a couple years, at least. As mentioned above, there were more contemporary dealers at the show itself but there are vintage marble collectors that come to the show and the in-room trading the couple days before the show. The Vegas Show has higher percentage of vintage collectors and the in-room trading is best for that show also.
  4. All Vitro agreed. Could all be Tiger Eyes - some with a little bit odd pattern.

    Contemporary by marble maker.

    Vacor?

Vacor's only transparent base marble with frit is the Stelaris, later called Stardust. Clear with a single color frit - Red, Yellow, Blue or Green (the frit - not the base color). There may have been older Vacor with a transparent base that had frit - before they started packaging them - but the above two are only ones I know that were packaged.
  7. Yes, last pics show slag.
  8. I would not consider the left to be a slag. It lloks like a red transparent swirl. Right could be a newer Vacor Rooster.
  9. People have to post the show information - not automatically done. Moderators are to delete the old ones but...?
  10. I am sorry to hear that. Mike did a great job with the Jabo Classic type boxes with different style marbles complementing each other in the boxes. I can't remember if I met him at a WVMCC Show but I dealt with him over the years with the boxes. Prayers to his family and friends.
  11. Blowhole or blowout are other terms that I have heard for the pops.
  12. Scott - I'm sure you have checked but maybe Craig Snider has some information.
  13. I think it was just for advertising purposes. I have never seen a bag with marbles even close to that.
  14. Imperial has a lot of cool packaging. Nice ones Josh & Dindo. Here's another from my collection. Also, had done some checking on packages that I have some years back. Seems that 1981 and prior was Mexico only. I do not recall seeing Vitro in Imperial pckaging but...? In 1981, here is a Mexico tag and Taiwan tag. 1985 has both Mexico and China mentioned. 1989 - China, India, Taiwan, Hong Kong. And another 1989 with Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong. 1997 - India, Korea, China, Philippines, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Do note that some of the tags say "Marbles made in xxx" and "Packaged in YYY". So, I agree with Paula on all Imperial packaging since early to mid 1980s forward should be Asian.
