  1. It looks like 11/16 th but the good news is I think I found a couple 9 and tails MF Christianson while I was revisiting that tray. I think I'll take some pictures of them tomorrow. I am meeting my YMCA pool marble source tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed. Might be a good score.
  2. Oh, I'm sorry I'll go measure it in a bit. Got put away but I think I can spot it easy enough.
  3. When you say "post" Fire, I assume you mean "mail" and not put pictures up of what you got in the exchange right? Some people do say post in place of mailing.
  4. Holy smokes. I watched this on TV this morning. I bet there was 5 to 8 thousand bucks there that I think cost Adam $1060.00. I was a bit jealous I guess. Picked up a lifetime of collecting in one morning of awesome marbles. Many were already identified and bagged. I can't believe that all he gave Stephen was a "slow cork"! I think he could have said "keep it" or "it's yours" a few more times.
  5. But it glows crazy. It has been played with but still acceptable. Just makes it I guess, but not junk. I was very surprised to see it light up under the UV. Any ideas? I'm guessing Vitro Agate. Thank you!
  6. Very nice of all of you to take the time to ponder and post. Thank you! This marble almost got junk piled but now thanks to ya'll I;ve come to like it a lot more.
  7. Right back at ya. Doggie is giving us a side glance and a smile.
  8. We ( Akroorka and I ) had a most pleasant and successful marble exchange. We had some great communication too. I hope everyone has as much fun as I did. Thank you!
  9. I reduced the images in size anyway. Orange has never been my best color to photograph. Second picture still looks lousy. I'm gonna fix that. Best I could do fixing. Is the first a Jabo?
  10. I am convinced you are correct with Alley Coral Swirl. Thank you!
  11. I've been here active for I guess a little over half a year and I have been treated so well. Lots of polite and patient people and it should get mentioned. Thanks everyone and if you celebrate Christmas, may it be a wonderful one this year for you and yours. If you celebrate or observe something else, I wish you just the same.
  12. Isn't this a little beauty? A generous gift from a good friend. I thought it just might be Christianson Agate Co but perhaps it is West Virginia Swirl. It is .59 inches in diameter. Thank you.
  13. That was my first guess too but I have a secret ballot for Akro here too. Thank you very much for the reply CharlieT.
  14. Think you know who made it? Added Edit - This is .71 inches in diameter. I'd appreciate your answer. Thank you!
  15. Thanks Alan. Good theory. It is in mangled mint condition anyway.
  16. ,68 or .70 inch depending on where I measure. Thank you for your interest in my post Alan.
  17. Wow Nantucketdink Great effort there. And the Jabos you show do have that sheen like Vacors. Hmmm, looks durn close. Thank you!
  18. Both are about 5/8th inch. On the left it looks like an older Jabo classic to me. Maybe more red than orange I suppose. On the right, I am seeing an Akro Agate Corkscrew but it is kind of blurry and undefined as far as the two colors go. They look somewhat blended. What do ya think? Could I have these both right? Thanks so much!
  19. This is one freak for sure but it is not damaged other than it's defective as made condition. It looks like it might have been an interesting marble production but this is sad. LOL It has a Jabo look to it maybe?
  20. These two look in pretty good shape. If I had to guess, I'd say the red and yellow was Akro Agate around 3/4 inches. The blue and yellow I thought might be Master Marble and is also about 3/4 inches in diameter. But the simpler the marble, the dumber I get. I don't think these come from the same company though.
