  1. I found this gray clay that I am pretty sure was in this batch as well that my friend gave me but I didn't add it earlier. There are streaks of silver in it as well as many sparkles evenly spaced apart throughout. I think it is about 7/8 inch in diameter.
  2. This was cool to watch. I bet that is fun. You fly it well.
  3. I wouldn't mind adding these I generated to my collection but they don't exist!
  4. I don't deserve it but I am going to be in Heaven forever someday. That is because Jesus came here and died and suffered on the cross and shed his blood to wash away my sins. He was buried and rose again after 3 days. He is going to come back in all His glory to take us believers home someday soon. I am also looking forward to a new super body. This one is pretty worn out! LOL
  5. Just some of my "other" Akro Agate glass. There's a couple lamp parts in here and a pumpkin colored vase that may be Alro or Westite (last). I also have two floor lamps, two boudoir lamps and a smoking stand not shown. Childrens dish and tumblers. Lamp parts Westite sometimes used Akro glass molds as well as their own.
  6. Guess these are my best Akro's and also some of my very favorite marbles.
  7. This is No 4 and I have "tweaked" the image some to sharpen it up. Trust me, this is the best I can present this particular marble. Had a very tough time with these images. I can see there are bruises and small chips. They are quite obvious now due to editing. It really brings out the damage. There is also a series of much thinner lines near the top of the top right image here. They seem to follow the same path as the thicker ones below them.
  8. I will try using a black background. It does have numerous thin lines but it does not glow. Be back very soon. Thanks
  9. Thanks for responding people. None reacted to my blacklight. I don't know what VVVHT is an abbreviation for and I will try to get more images of No 4 in the near future. White is so hard for my camera to focus on.
  10. Here are 5 different white slags or swirls or a combination of the two. These have been posted before but the topic was a bit different. I think they are a mix of both. My best guess is that No 3 and 5 are swirls. Please help me understand. This has to be a common hurdle for a lot of us new learners to figure out. I have two other white marbles I will folllow up with and see how I do after hopefully learning more.
  11. I think Peltier slag marbles might be the easiest for me to identify. I think I have picked out some cobalt Peltier slags here. Am I ever gonna get this? Please tell me how many out of 8 I got right and what those numbers I got wrong are. Thank you!
  12. I dunno? I just saw some resemblance. I was stumped myself.
  13. Sure looks a lot like one I just posted earlier today. They thought it was a Peltier Rainbo LINK https://marbleconnection.com/topic/38238-a-marble-with-a-bubbly-personality-~-id-please/#comment-327312
  14. Not sure anymore but I think these are three Slag Marbles. My recent studies have made me doubt what I thought were slag marbles. Since joining this forum and finding they turned out to be swirls sometimes, but I'll learn eventually. And then there is another one what we called a "Crystal" as a kid. Others call them "Clearies" I think. Almost can imagine a faint 9 in the middle one?
  15. LOL Oh boy, I've struck gold! Thanks for the comments. Indeed, it is odd. All these years I thought it was glass. I guess as a novelty, it is worth having. It's not ugly anyway.
  16. Thank you both for your further attention about this little feller. It would be cool to have an Akro Sweet Pea or Swea Pea. I am glad it is in good shape. Maybe we shall see. I have seen Ron Shepherd in yooooo tube videos with Stephen Bahr. I recently learned Ron had passed away. That Stephen Bahr sure is funny sometimes. I like his pinch of humor. They sure know and knew their stuff.
  17. I will follow up with more better pictures in the near future. It's kinda tough to photograph. Thank you very much.
  18. One is larger than the other two. They all show that orange glow when held to the light and have that opalescent appearance. Some people like these moonies a lot. Me, they never really rocked my boat, but 3 is better than none. Mercury has Zero moons, Earth has One, Mars has Two but Me, I got Three!
  19. This actually had me fooled until yesterday when I handled it along with many others. I noticed it felt light. Then I dropped it just a short 1 inch distance on the table and it bounced rapidly about 4 times with a funny sound. I thought it was a real marble but it was not. Just an odd thing for me, maybe others have seen such marbles many times before. I doubt it is collectible. ( Almost looks like a "9" doesn't it? )
  20. This 5/8 or so marble loaded with bubbles must be showing a major characteristic of a certain maker. None of those bubbles, surprisingly, are exposed to the surface. One pic with flash and the other without. Do tell. Thank you!
  21. The first image I provided in post no 1 were mostly white base swirl marbles. I also have some transparent and translucent colored base swirls I'll add on here. Some of these look like monstrous mutations of cats eyes! I think the only thing I can conclude is that swirl marbles are one tough type to identify. It is going to take a lot more studying than I thought to be able to pigeonhole these. I also should prepare myself to accept some just won't ever be identified with 100% certainty. I get mixed up sometimes telling the difference between a "Slag" and a "Swirl". I do have a bunch of "Jabo" swirls but they are a story for another day. I only have one big clear base swirl. I have several solid swirls, that Yellow Blue and Red on White looks to be something modern, the little marble is to show some scale. Sometimes a swirl is hiding in the crowd looking like a solid game marble. This one appeared to be a very dark green until I took a flash camera shot.
  22. Yes, these were common marbles, but as a kid, I found them just as fascinating to look at as any others. All my marbles as a kid are gone, my little brother somehow got my bag and they are lost forever but I have picked these up over the past 30-40 years. When values or rarity was not important I valued my cats eye marbles. If they had an unusual color or several colors, I favored them more. I don't know much more about them today. I guess there are some Good Ones people want but what they are I dunno. Here are all I can find that I own in this post. I have 4 Big "Dobblers" (That's what I remember us kids in my neighborhood calling the big marbles) A pair of 4 vein examples, one deep blue and the other more sky blue. Then I have a three color almost "Banana" shaped one and my best one, I guess, is this 5 vein yellow one with green highlights, My group picture of the rest A couple unusual ones and a group of pee wees are shown better below. First a mis-shaped one. It is shaped like a Rugby football. Then the thinnest red banana (maybe) I have ever seen and finally 5 or so pee wees in the center. THAT"S ALL FOLKS for the cats
