  1. I appreciate both of your opinions, it's a tough one huh? My first thought was Akro and the colors are not too far off for that either. It's not quite a sunburst and not exactly a patch. Or . . . is it?
  2. I show size comparison to the larger Akro Moss Agate ( I think ) This one is orange with a bit of a patch of transparent red. I see other similar from Peltier and Marble King and I saw another Vacor that resembled it but I am stumped. Besides that it is a Pee Wee. well under a half inch. I tried to show all sides in this collage block of 9 pictures below. THANK YOU!
  3. Now these get a bit complicated. My eyes are wiggin out by now. I think there are some "Popeye Corkscrews" in this group but not sure. So in these pictures are 8 summer marbles. Summer here in one image and summer there in the other picture but there are a total of 8 more at the end of my parade. I think there are three of the same in this photo and here there are the other 5 and the last 5 marbles shown here show 5 out of the 8 mixed in together? I'm out of these corkscrews but please continue posting yours if you like. Thanks for letting me share mine.
  4. Almost done with my contributions but I saved my best for last. I think that these are Popeyes Two Akro Agate Purple and Yellow POPEYE Corkscrew Marbles and One Akro Agate Blue and Yellow POPEYE Corkscrew Marble. Definitely in the top 25 of my very favorite marbles.
  5. Yes, this is another stand out in the crowd, a little played with I suppose but still nice enough for me. I always wanted it to be Oxblood but I don't think it is. My only one like this.
  6. These three are single examples I have. They are only 1/2 inch or smaller. I guess 2 of them at least qualify as "pee wees"
  7. Here is one marble, my only one like this, that has a transparent red snake corkscrew over a green opaque base. (Two views) On some of these images you will see the reflection of my TV or the window over it on the surface. Sorry, it looks almost like damage.
  8. These Red and Yellow Corkscrews are clearly different. Four of one type with a transparent red snake over an opaque yellow base (notice the red bleeding into the yellow on the one) and two with a more opaque or perhaps somewhat translucent red snake. I see many other marble companies used this color combination or close to it anyway. I wondered where the nickname Ketchup and Mustard came from and does that nickname apply here to either of these. Heck, I hope these are AKRO? Marbles are sooooooooooo confusing!
  9. These are pretty in my eye and well made. Opaque Black corkscrew on Opaque Peachy Caramel Brown Base. Delicious! I really don't know what color that would be.
  10. A very mellow Green and Blue Opaque Corkscrew on a White Base. I don't think those straight lines are cracks but I will take a look and come back to note if they are. EDIT This was driving me nuts so I had to get it put and look. Sure enough, it has cracks. :-(
  11. Three Orange (with just a trace of brown) Solid color Corkscrews on an Opaque White Base. That one on the left might show some light through the white? I forgot to check but the color makes me think it might be translucent.
  12. Earlier (previous post) I posted a White and Yellow Corkscrew on a clear base. Here it appears with another with similar color combination that is less defined and also a White Corkscrew on a clear base.
  13. White and Yellow Corkscrew on a clear base. Small bubbles. A light blue corkscrew in a bubbly transparent clear base. Not to be confused with an Akro Agate "Blue Auger" since the interior is open.
  14. Then I have two decent Transparent Vaseline Glass Base with white opaque corkscrews.
  15. Same situation here, Wannabees and maybe a couple or few that make true corkscrews. Transparent Blue Colored Base Opaque White.
  16. Sometimes they just don't corkscrew enough, I might have two out of this handful that are Transparent Green Colored Base Opaque White Corkscrews. The others are those slugs I talked about in post 1.
  17. Some of these are Akro Agate Transparent Red Colored Base Opaque White swirls I think. The white just lays across the surface for a stretch and only curves a bit. (top ones) The bottom are Transparent Red Colored Base Opaque White Corkscrews.
  18. Ponjong Thanks for posting. I have two or three like that one you found. I like it! One on left looks like a fracture but it is not. These would be Colored transparent base with opaque colored swirls. I can't exactly say that snake is white. If I could name it, I would call mine Root Beer Floats but I think another marble has already claimed that name.
  19. This Black Line All Red has a not so common flesh colored, sandy tan patch with a sliver of orange/red like pole on one end and a golden orange on the other
