I was incredibly fortunate, right time and right place. I bought them from MarbleAlan, I wish I had known him longer, an amazing and fun person, gone too soon.

Ha! That's me I was on a cornflower blue ( or periwinkle ) kick for a while and gathered as many as I could get my hands on, which was not a whole lot to be honest. I'll get a photo of my finds and post them here *update: Here they are, I really like that blue. The group photo is a new photo, the other two photos I've shared before, and they are my favorite of the group

That is a cool marble for sure, I like the blends and unusual corks. As for the size 9/16", I just went through a lot of my Akros and came up with this group, with five of them being a size smaller at 17/32". In the photo below, I suspect that green and orange on the far left as being buffed or polished, so it may not have been that size originally and probably doesn't belong in this group. There are two patches, one an oxblood. Make of it what you will, I just love any reason to sort through a bunch of my Akros again 😆

Here's my face - 2023, on my visit back home to Alaska. I've collected Akro Agate marbles for twenty years now, I can't believe it's been that long, but I still can't get enough of them and love finding a new color combination, they seem endless. My other hobbies are photography (nature mostly), rock painting, and metal detecting the beaches of NE Florida. Jess or Jessica, either one is good with me.

The lighting looks great on both photos, the second photo is sharper than the first.

This is the second one, I bought them together about fifteen years ago, I like to think they've been together for a hundred years. This one is also 11/16"

Nice set of Akros ❤️ In that top photo, the three Green and Yellow Popeyes, that middle one looks like a glower. Is that a UV Popeye? -Jess
