  1. I have seen fake boxes that look like a thin paper has been glued over another box then printed or labeled to look old. This looks like it may be one of that type. The 6X4 rows is another alarm bell.
  2. good lighting and Using the Custom White Balance will help get very accurate colors. And not using the zoom feature for close ups(just get the camera close on Macro) Is some advice I can offer. Also a tripod will help if you are shaky(LOL)
  3. I hope it is filled with joy, family and friends. Galen
  4. I apologize completely. My mistake I am very sorry to have put you there. I occasionally am a dumbass. Don't know how or why I was thinking manddrakes was Reliford. I wish I could blame it on wine but I don't drink. I owe you. Sorry,Galen
  5. Actually the big top marble is a Slag and the others are known to most as Multi-colored swirls. And, the "machine" patented by Miller is a set of rollers that made marbles round. it did not affect the design. the miller "machine" rolled marbles 7/8" and bigger, and in addition to rounding early marbles, it was used recently to round the rootbeer floats and novas. the "machines" that affected the patterns came from Sellers Peltier - they were feeders. one for "swirls" and one for "ribbons". they were patented a couple years apart - the swirl feeder was the earlier of the two, but i think the ribbon one was used more. in making marbles, you need some way to feed glass, and some way to round them (rollers). you also have shears to cut the glass, and this can affect the pattern, but the rollers do not affect the pattern. hence, you can not tell what machine made a marble "round" by looking at its pattern, and therefore, there's no such thing as a "miller swirl" in this context. Did you ever take care of this? Leroy getting burnt
  6. Here is a color you won't find on many Jabos, Black 3/4"+ not mine
  7. Thats true. Especially when it comes to marbles
  8. I would say that having Cateyes in the bag would definitely say, filled by someone other than the factory. I can't imagine Champion ever needing to purchase marbles to bag.
  9. I would guess not filled at the factory.
  10. Isn't it fun seeing your old marbles doing some traveling Rick?

  12. Great deal this weekFrys specialcamera has great macro camera
  13. I don't think I have ever seen a broken cork MK so I am now with what Sami says. I just wish it didn't look like white in those pops and hits.
  14. It doesn't take intelligence to see your first comment was tacky. Making a joke at someone else's expense must be OK to you. Thats fine. To keep trying to make it look like something it wasn't instead of apologizing says enough. I'm done.
  15. I think he is way above being bothered by your immature belittling comments
  16. I believe he said he won 3 events!
  17. Read your first sentence in your first post. Maybe thats not what you meant but thats pretty much a slam at Leo. And believe me I know anything someone types can be taken totally differently than what you wanted to say.
  18. Leo is a Gentlemen in the true sense. One of the nicest guys to find at a show. And a world champion again this year. (Weightlifting}
  19. Bob has a lot more faithful bidders than Leo. He hasn't bought anything from him for months, and has a lot higher # than the high bidder. But that bid is insanity. Don't folks understand that just a little asking around will get you those marbles given to you or a few bucks at the most. Bob is a very lucky guy!!!!

    Coral Swirls

Here is one that myself and many that have seen it believe to be the CAC type. Ridges on the back side of the coral and perfectly transparent green with no white stringers at all. Many small bubbles.
  21. if there is white in the bottom of the deep chips it is pure MK. If not, Peltier IMO I am thinking MK or Pelt(LOL)
