    Coca Cola

These are modern logoi marbles. Several made in the US. They can have Coke, Pepsi, most U.S. gun makers, etc. More than one company supplied the marbles. No way of knowing which company the marbles are from. They are most solid color opaque marbles or a few are MK Cat Eyes. No different traits to separate the solid color ones. Sizes from 5/8 inch to one inch. There are 170+ listings for Coke marbles on Ebay now. Very few of these sell. They range in price from $1.00 to $3.00 each average, I have never sold one for $1.00 at any US marble shows. Different people or companies have applied the decals to the marbles. Some have the decal fired on and some do not. I have some 7/8 inch Marble King yellow Cat Eyes with Coke on one side and Coca Cola on the opposite side. They were made by MK about 1970-1980"s. They are worth about $3.00 each at 7/8 inch size. Jabo purchased the rights to use many logos. They made millions of logo marbles and applied the logo decals. With cartoon characters, Betty Boop, U.S. states logo's, WVU- Ohio State. A long list, but no Coke that I remember. The marbles could be made by Marble King or Jabo if it makes any difference ??? No way to know for sure.
  3. Jabo. The pink color is Kugler glass, bubblegum .
  4. Heaton banana cat eyes. Heaton also made standard 4 vane cat eyes. Which I have trouble separating from MK cats. I can't find my pictures. I am sure Al or others have pictures of Heaton bags with the normal 4 vane cat eyes.
  5. No not even close to any Tater bug. All the Alley Lady marbles has a separate color of lavender or pink. There is no Red Lady. Every Alley Tater Bug has a yellow/tan opaque color base glass. Lady Tater
  6. The first slags Peltier made were not feathered. Not all Pelt slags are feathered style. The question was, largest size Peltier slag ? Not just feathered slag. Peltier's first marbles were hand gathered slags. Chad said above he has near one inch size dug hand gathered slags.
  7. Looks like a almost exact match base and striping for Sistersville Alley.
  8. All St.Marys site Alleys.
  9. Shipping outside the USA is more cost and detailed customs forms have to be filled out. Many times once the package leaves the USA there is no tracking. No tracking proof and any seller can say they never received the item and get a refund. I had it happen once. I lost the marbles and had to refund the buyer the bid amount and the shipping cost. Insurance for marbles is a waste. Because there is no licensed certified marble appraiser for a value. The USPS will not accept a sold Ebay listing or a Paypal transaction. Better ask all the details with your post master about insurance on marbles. My postmaster paid my claim of $40.00 once. But he said he could not do it again. It would have to approved from way on up the line. He said that he had never had a approval for money for marbles. Because there is no way to look up a certified value. My last few years. My Ebay listings always said no shipping outside of the U.S.A. To much hassle, time, cost and risk A medium flat rate box to Italy, shipping can be from $40.00 to $96.00 . A small flat rate to Italy is usually $28.00 to $40.00.
  10. I have about 35 lots in his April auction. I sent him marbles about 4-5 times in 2022.
  11. No matter how you ship, never ship without a tracking number. I shipped one or maybe 6 marbles in a padded envelope. You can get them in different sizes at Walmart. Different sizes and weight will be a little bit different cost to ship. Usually cheaper than the USPS small flat rate box. High dollar marbles I shipped in USPS small flat rate box. Numbers of marbles or whatever fit, I shipped in USPS small flat rate box. The flat rate USPS boxes all come automatic with tracking. You can find current price for flat rate boxes on the USPS website. You can order flat rate boxes for free on the USPAS website. Of some post office keep some on hand. Some sellers have free shipping. They just add the shipping cost on to the starting bid. Starting the bid at what ever they want to, plus the shipping = the starting bid. I started hundreds of my listings with $0.99. The $0.99 starting bids all did just fine. Just as well as any other start bid. I have passed on many auctions with high shipping cost. I do not understand bidding $3.00 or buying a marble for $3.00 and paying $5.95 shipping. A $3.00 marble is not worth $3.00+$5.95=$8.95 I always tried to put enough marbles in a group that they were worth more than the shipping cost. I have not sold anything on Ebay for a year. If you sell very much you will get a 1099notice at the end of the year from the IRS, to file with your Federal taxes. Ebay got more complicated every year. It is all set up for the buyer. As a seller, if someone wants a refund no matter what. Ebay will make sure they get it. Ebay owns Paypal and every transaction goes through Paypal. Of course there are also Paypal fees, which Ebay gets. They have probably made more changes since I last sold on Ebay. Good Luck.
  12. Liberty. All the white base with red and blue marbles are liberties now.

  16. Hope you beat the porch pirates. Marble mail is good mail.
  17. Thank You ! But I know some who do not agree. But I am all about majority. I will never be 100% correct. I will never please everyone. The more correct information, thoughts opinions, open minds, and civil discussions the more we should learn. The people who helped me never wanted a dime from me. They just ask, pass it along.
  18. OK I got it. You were on the fence and I mistook don't over look Parrots, as a think about, a warning or to compare it with a Vitro Parrot.
  19. The single ones price may fall. I think there are several torch made fakes on the market now. When you get to $100.00 and over, if at all possible, people will make fakes.
  20. Tom Reed had the boxes made and filled them. The first one " Tom put these together as Christmas gifts for the children of some of his clients". His name is on each box.
  21. I agree it is weird. I don't think we have or know the whole story of why these marbles ended up like this. I also have used toilet bowl cleaner and about every household cleaner to clean marbles. some of those cleaners have destroyed stainless steel sinks and other things but not the marbles. Muratic acid will eat out or remove bad glass from a marble. But a good marble will take muratic acid for days. These marbles may have already had problems. Rinsed in Toilet Bowl cleaner should not do this. Maybe if they were not rinsed over long time, months or years. This might happen ? Was the entire jar like these above ? What was the specific type of glass that it ate up ?
