VTAndrea
I'm no expert on Jabos, but it kind of reminds me of one.
MC Marbles
I love metallics. You have a great one there. I'm thinking more Jabo than Pelt. JMHO Cool Mib!!! Mark
smitty
Bob, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Champion, because of the absence of aventurine, the pattern and the metallic stripe. Smitty
carole154
Not sure what it is, but I'm voting not Pelt. I do love the metallics. carole
nutz4lutz
I see nothing Jabo about it. I got this in a cigar box ebay lot that included two NLR Tigers, a 1 Inch Peach Slag, CA Slags, multiple Alley Flames, Clays, Akro Patches, Master Sunbursts, Etc. and no other Jabo stuff, not even a Catseye. Often metallic says Champ, but I do see Pelt cues in the yin/yang pattern, plus surface bubbles, and the colors are Rebelish to the max.
marblemansion
Looks out of round in your photos - is that the case?
nutz4lutz
Yes, it is a little out of round.
wvrons
My first thought was Pelt.
marblemansion
Yes, it is a little out of round. well cool then I aint never seen a Jabo with this sort of sheer line: But I have seen some Pelts like that.
I'llhavethat1
And the size, is? Looks more "burnt Christmas tree" colors than "rebel"...close to a pelt like pattern. Could very well be something else though.
nutz4lutz
Size is 21/32"
m!b$
Here's a similar-looking 3/4" Peltier "Miller" Christmas Tree that I bought from Marblealan a while back, and that's what he called it. (Cost a pretty penny too).
sissydear
Mibs, I can see the green in yours. I went back and looked at the original marble and the edges in some parts of it look green too. You may have something there. Edna
m!b$
I think Bob's is definitely a Christmas Tree, not a Rebel, and that would account for it not having aventurine...right?

oldmarblenut
There are Miller Rebels without aventurine, the way the color bleeds to a brown/greenish leads me to think Rebel without aventurine.
m!b$
You just may be right. And doesn't the green usually have some transparency on trees, which that first marble seems to lack? Has anyone seen a Christmas Tree with aventurine?
VTAndrea
Yes, I have one with some aventurine but it probably wouldn't show up in a photo.
oldmarblenut
I have seen burnt Christmas Trees, the green was still translucent to a point and not ever opaque black. Some black glass I use will look metalic when heated just so, could this be a similar result? looks to be a bit of blending of the red and black also? that could give a burnt green/brown appearance. Nice marble whatever you wish to call it.
marboman
How about aventurine in in the red? if that helps
