Vitros With Transparent Colored Bases ?

What kinds of Vitro examples do you have with transparent colored bases - amber, blue, green, whatever. Would love to see. Thanks!

Seems that green is a more common trans base than others looking only at my few. lol

I don't have any as fancy as the last but I have a few I think are Vitro. We'll see if I've learned anything. First I think my avatar is Vitro and then there are these: Let me know how I did.

Every time I've seen the first one of yours, Nancy, I've been a bit mystified by it. That springy green is something else. The 2nd to last doesn't give me a very Vitro feel but I dunno.

Well Steph, I have to admit, I flip/flopped on this one a bit. Here is a better pic. If the lips were not so pronounced I might have thought Akro to be honest. At least for a minute. =}

But then again I wasn't even remembering any Vitros with a yellow base until I thought of the ones from Anacortes.

I have a feeling that the yellow is just reflection from the yellow patch. Normally I can fin an area that I can find the clear at a certain angle. On this on there is no such angle, so I really can't say it is clear for sure but that is my hunch being I cannot find another.

Here ya go. I think it was Spara? that had a whole box of these for sale not to long ago.

The one in the top left has an amber base as well. Not to easy to see either in the pics or inhand. I was told these were an early type and all had amber bases. I have had a few and all needed to be backlit to see the transparent amber in them.

These 3 are favorites of mine and I think they would qualify.Thjey have a transparent base with lovely milky white and turquoise threads in it.

Am I correct in identifying them as Vitro? And can someone tell me if there is a name for them?
