Swissmarble
Alan was always so helpful and so I had an agreement with him that he collected and forwarded marbles for me which I bought in the USA to save money on postage an custom-fees. This marble was sent to him when he was already very ill and he died before he was able to forward it to me. I got it eventually with the help of Cheryl (thanks again, Cheryl !!) and so this beautiful marble became the "Alan Basinet Marble" for me and it is a great memory of him....I am sure he would like this ! VTAndrea
I was never clear on what happened with his collection. Did his best marbles get grabbed into high end collections? Not trying to stir up anything.
Steph
I think about Alan often. Was just thinking about his archived marble company information last night.
