Another good thread to pull in: 3 Nice Ones

We talk about wirepulls so much, I was looking for a thread with more opaques in it and found some good ones there.

So Steph says I should post this over here... :)

13/16" and near mint+ . Consensus is that it's Veiligglas.

Thank you, Winnie.

As always.

Much appreciated. Never too many Amsterdam swirls. :)

That one is a bit of an oddball, I used to hope it was a wild Alley but it is not. It differs from the solid swirls in that it has a transparent green base glass. I have posted it before and at that time everyone was still using the term Euro for everything. I can't say it is absolutely Veiligglas but I believe if memory serves, Winnie thought it possible. =}

Jeeperman,I'm not sure if the first one is an Amsterdam swirl,the others are beautiful Amsterdam swirls,I can imagine the last one is your fav-.

Ann,yours is a great example of an Amsterdam swirl.

New one for me, too.  Like some kind of wild cross between an Amsterdam flame and a wire pull!  :o

Yes Jeeper,it's 7/8,now that you mentioned it,Veiligglas has made a lot of big ones,when I look in my box,about 45% is 5/8 and 35% is 7/8,the rest are 11/16 and 1 inch.
