Ric
17 hours ago, Tommy said: Vitro oxblood I do believe. It's a decent Aquamarine, Tommy. The red/brown color on them varies a lot and some of them do have oxblood. But I agree with Chad on this one - I'm not seeing it. I am convinced that Vitro never intentionally made oxblood so any that do have it are fortuitous and very uncommon. 1

SequoiaBET Posted yesterday at 09:09 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:09 PM My first post, just in time for Oxblood August! I just picked up these bricks and am thinking they are either M.F.Christensen or Akro- correct? And how do you tell the difference between the 2 companies? The bigger 2 are 3/4" and the other 3 are 5/8". 1
akroorka
These Akro vs MFC bricks can be hard to determine between the two makers. Akro did make some hand-gathered bricks that look awful like an MFC brick. Experts are out there, and I am not one of them. I just love bricks. Thanks for sharing them. Marble—On!! SequoiaBET
One more Oxblood post. Does anyone know who made these cats-eye marbles with oxblood?

akroorka
This box is what got me into oxblood--many years ago. I passed on it once--the second time was the time to take it home. Yep, a "Jobber Box" full of Akro "Milkies". Marble--On!!
