OK two questions,

I do not talk face to face with marble collectors so bear with me. I am a classic "closet collector" that has recently broke out of his box a tad. Is it Job-o or Jay-boy for pronunciating it correctly?

Is the term "Classic Jabo" a collector’s term and is it referring to the early Jabo marbles that were usually filled with little white hit marks?

Marble--on!! And Closet --on!!

Way to many to name for me, with several different runs the sheer numbers are boggling, a big undertaking for sure !!

I was really thinking only about specifically named JABO Classic marbles, like Hot Tamale, Ghost, Tie-Dye, Sweet Potato Pie, etc. I might be wrong, but I don't think there are that many specifically-named JABO Classics.

It's JAY-BOW as in BlueJAY and RainBOW. Classics are the marbles that JABO manufactured for play from about 1992-2007 and, yes, many of the larger ones had little white hit marks.

Thanks for asking this question. I too don't hear the words being spoken so when talking about it I would always say, "Jay-Bo . . . Jab-o ... how ever it is pronounced." Now I don't have to use so many words.LOL! Some of my favorite marbles are Jabos. Especially the classics made of transparent colored glass and UV glass.
