Jill Spencer's site is gone now but I found an archived version at the Wayback Machine. Recall that she owned a site which had been used for dumping Marble Kings in the 1960's. Marblequeen.com Home of great vintage marbles, Antiques and Glassware (archive.org) Here's what she had to say on a Blue Boy listing: "This is a great 5/8ths inch Marble King blue boy. This is an experimental made between 1959 and 1964 but never marketed." The Blue Boy pictured in her listing does have a little more solid-looking ribbons. Here it is.
