Well, here we go again...I go in today to be scanned for a possible reoccurence of my throat cancer...a few weeks ago I suddenly, but very briefly, felt that "burning fire" feeling that I described in the past. This time, it was located center and then again slightly left of center, of my throat. They were quick, only a split second each time. But I will never forget it. Especially for the fact that I basically "ignored" it last time, passing it off as allergies, Covid, etc...

I did reach out immediately and they want me in as a precaution. So this afternoon, into the tube I go, then upstairs too consult with my team about what the results turn out too be. I should also mention to them that, about a week ago, I was standing in front of the mirror in the bathroom, then the next minute, I was sitting on the floor. And I DON'T REMEMBER GETTING THERE. A little wobbly getting up, and a bit scary.

I wasn't going to say anything with just bursting back on the scene recently after some time off, but figured I better now in case things decide to go south.

Hoping and praying it's not "Time to Fight" again. Dealt with enough as it is the past couple years, especially since August of 2024 losing my father then just last month my little sister. Not too mention my 6 year relationship with my significant other ending in between due to her extreme, and sometimes abusive, alcoholism.

Just wanted to keep my Wonderful Second Family here informed.

Thanks Brother...I appreciate the support, thoughts and prayers...you were a staunch supporter, as were a number of others here that were around back in 2022 when this monster tried to snuff me out...

Arrived and checked in...now the waiting game...CT scan followed by a meet with the Same folks that saved my butt before..

The waiting game continues...thought I was going upstairs to see my team afterwards but they didn't see anything on the schedule...yet my email said 2 appointments...suppose they'll reach out tomorrow..

Good Morning my friends...

I received my phone call from Emplify/Gundersen Health System this morning right at 8am from my Doctor/Surgeon....

He was pleased to announce that I am still CANCER FREE!

I am so damn relieved...it's been an emotional, nerve wracking past few weeks, and I sure didn't need anything else to go south in my life for sure...

I was so happy I put it on speaker and asked him too say it again!

Thank you again too everyone here who took time to support me here on this thread...

Speaking of this thread, let's hopefully put it too rest for good! 

I will always look back on it, reading a few words here and there, but the goal is never to post using the "C" word!

A big relief to me also, Been prayin for you Brother and will continue to. Though we've never met in person I still feel we are Brothers. Someday we'll meet face to face. "GOD is Good"
