Da Roberto
It looks a bit like a European sparkler, but with that seam it sounds a little weird

ann
I`m pretty sure it`s not a German or French sparkler. Other than that? Plus, I like it.
Jeff54
Yellow, green, red and white with a bonus pink. Pink is such a hard color, that isn't a blend of red and white, to get. This color line up and internal wispy blends inside, found in Akro Sparklers and Master marbles. I mean both can line up near the same colors, Yellow most usual in Akro but Master has that too. You're missing blue as both can have all four primary; red, yellow, blue, green and white, plus clear and as, they always blend into a 7th shade, you are 7+ which makes:. Lucky 7. But which is this? And man, your gramps didn't mess around with his 'Evil 'intimidator marble, snatching minty stuff. You've got, in that massive horde of his, just what marble collectors dream of. Albeit I doubt many even dreamed that big, hiding away since the 30's. I like the sheer marks (cut lines) to be saying Akro but the tints in the colors and the big white smear that appears to be out of the red, turning it pink, that's what I'd expect in a Master Made. Yet it would be possible, because; out of the gate, breaking ties with Akro, Master used those 6 and got that lucky 7th as well. I just happen to have one, Lucky 7 (all primary colors, and white in clear, blending of the shades) with shear marks of master, and it takes a bow with heavy Master's green aventurine covering half of it. It Sparkles! However, it also lends to yours being Akro. Sparklers have fairly standard, for Akro, clear. My Master uses a tint of clear that's not quite a coke bottle green as it's lighter than, but close. That suggests; Master was using culet while Akro was likely mixing their own from scratch. [edit] I forgot to mention more on that pink. It might be blended as these were being made but maybe not. Either way, it just adds in the Keeper clause for being that much different than others, near the same without it, made back then.
ann
I know very little about Masters, but I don`t see anything that would make me think Akro Sparkler. So if it`s not Euro, and not Akro, what`s left? No clue.
William
A wild, wacky Pelt? IDK, just a guess, even though some things don't particularly seem right for a Pelt? more butter....
wvrons
I not sure why, but Peltier keeps jumping in my head. Probably because I don't have any other company left. I know they made a few (not many) Corals. Different companies Corals end up with some pink along with the coral or orange and transparent green . I just have problems putting it with Vitro, Akro, and for sure not Alley or Champion. I think it is a USA marble. I keep going back to Peltier or CAC Peltier used about every color possible. It has the bubbles (seedy) base glass. I think the cut lines fit with Peltier . It is a clear base, not transparent green base like most corals. ?????? It would be a keeper for me, just to find out who made it. 1
akroorka
My first reaction was oooooh, very nice marble! My second reaction was, I think that it may be a “tweener” made in between runs of different models. I would keep it with my Akro Agates just because it reminds me of the ones that I post below. The green gets me here as well as the white, the white looks opal and I have always thought that these clear based Ox patches had it as well—it is just really hard to tell because of the oxblood included. I have only seen these in green included and yellow included. Perhaps Akro made an orange one and a red one as well. All opinions are welcomed and needed. Marble—On!! 1

akroorka
No, just the start of another marble type. They did not shut down the furnace unless it was broken--or the gas bill was not paid😁.
NeozLilBallz
So upon close inspection, the pink is not pink in my opinion it appeared that it is orange with white brushed on top giving it the appearance of being pink... Thanks for your insight it is appreciated:)
