Leigh
I just got this today and some people on the CAC FB page confirmed that it's a Christensen Agate marble, but one of them said that it's an electric slag. I'm wondering what others think as I thought maybe it's layered sand. Any thoughts?
chicagocyclist
Ah, names of traits...slags are pretty unknown to me.
Steph
I'm leaning toward slag. Electric should have a neon-looking thing going. Not aware of this dark color being associated with "electric".
Steph
The presence of both amber and maroon is interesting but I'm _guessing_ it was part of a slag run and the two separate colors were unintentional.

Thanks for your opinion!
Chad G.
Not a layered sand, not an electric slag ; OP is still a nice example of a CA slag

I took another photo of where the colors are the brightest on it.
wvrons
Not anything electric bright colors here. Not layered sand. If you thin a layer of white over red, you many get pink, purple or amber. Red base with white slag.
