These types are commonly referred to as transparent swirls. But they do fit the definition of a slag (white striping glass in transparent base glass), and long ago "slag" had an even more generic meaning. I've heard some old-timers use the term "slag" to distinguish glass marbles, regardless of how they look, from stone and clay marbles.
