I could make up a story living here in PA but the truth is it was in the garbage pile at a house down our street. Decades ago I stopped the car to dumpster dive for something else which I don't remember what it was now that caught my eye. Old people lived in a house down our street andΒ they moved out for the nursing home. My wife actually joined me and she found it and handed it to me. The smaller ones (I think) were in with a marble lot I bought long ago.

Carowill
I remember this being a common present in elementary school when you had to pick a random name for a Christmas gift exchange.Β Not sure anybody played this game, but it was a cheap gift to exchange.

Chad G.
I used to work at a custom mill where we made Lincoln logs and pieces for Jenga, stated with 2x12's or better and cut out all the knots from there on gang rip and chop saw machines Β

It was different then, we didn't have a kagillion toys, only a few. I can remember Lincoln logs, Tonka trucks, BB gun, pocket knives, sling shot, hot wheels. We only had maybe 10-15 toys max but it kept us busy. Most of my time as a kid was spent in the woods or walking to the neighbors a mile away picking up bottles for candy at the store, I was a country boy and loved every second of it.

Chad G.
39 minutes ago, William said: Me to, 5 cents/10 cents per bottle, worth the work collecting themΒ Yeah, I remember candy was 2 or 3 pieces for a penny, the soda was in a cold water cooler. The store was about 2.5 miles away, just enough for me and my friends to get enough bottles for some candy, pop or ice cream. I'll never forget those hot summer days. It was great being a kid out where I grew up in Oregon. A little country store, only one for 7 more miles until you hit town. I think the population when I weas a kid was only 1600, that's counting everyone out in the stix to.Β Man what is and has happened to the world is a shame.Β No worries then, just be a kid !!
