Recording off the radio, dedicating songs, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, lace and leather. I was a really sappy 80s kid, but then I loved Def Leppard, Guns N Roses, and Metallica.
And when cassette singles came out, I thought that was the coolest thing.

It was only a few days ago, but one of my absolute favorite songs, but one of my favorite all time songs is by Gordon Lightfoot with his homage in regards to the Edmond Fitzgerald. I literally get chills at different intervals of the song. 

I attached some information regarding the incident, and also an advertisement being run on Roku right right now as they are highlighting a documentary about the mighty Edmund Fitzgerald. In case anyone was interested in viewing....
