It was sitting in a bin of polished rocks, so at first I thought it was a dyed agate or something. But when I picked it up, I saw the lovely translucent purple. The store owner let me have it for a buck. 🙂 I wonder if it's some kind of game piece. The glass itself almost reminds me of some master or akro patches. The grayish color base glass is pretty whispy and translucent. It even glows a little reddish when held up to the sunlight. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You can see the glass ingot shear point. They are intentionally made like this (sort of a pyramid/gum drop shape), not intended to be a marble. They are for flower vases and decoration. I have some cubes of 1970s ish Chinese millefiori glass that I guess could be decorative too.
