marblemanvintagemarbles
I believe this would be called an Auger right?
Al Oregon
Auger is like a solid drill bit down the center of the marble. This one seems to have somewhat of a hole down the cneter - therefore not an auger.
Carowill
Agree. A snake.
akroorka
Augers should have been named "driil bits". Less confusion. Think of a driil bit, they are alway solid in the middle. Nice marble!
marblemanvintagemarbles
I thought a snake would only swirl around the outside of the corkscrew. This one seems to have a very wide ribbon. So I thought it was an Auger i have to fix it in my store.

Ric
@chucks_mibs I've got one a lot like that and I consider it an Auger. I think it's always important to remember that these are toy marbles coming off a machine at a surprising rate, and they often don't adhere to our rigid definitions. It seems like on some of these particular types the "core" of the auger spun out a bit from center too, if you get my drift. 1

Why is this one giving you Asian vibes? I would say this one is an Akro based on the 3rd photo, the seam and the eyelashes and the 7th photo, the striations in the clear glass that's what makes me think Akro. I'd love to hear why Asian vibes - I'm always learning!

It is a nice marble and I just gave an opinion that I will stand by. Many collectors would call this one, the red one, an Akro. We all learn from posts like this and that is why we are here--to learn. Well, this is a group of images of a marble that on my PC, does not show any Akro colors. The base is just not clear/transparent enough and the red--well--not Akro in my experiance at least. We all offer opinions here--this is just my humble opinion and I may be wrong. Keep Marbling On!!
