Fire1981 Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 02:04 AM I see a twisted up Rainbo. The seam in pic 2 and color combo is why I think it’s a Pelt Rainbo🔥 RAR

This was listed as an akro silver shooter oxblood.

Chad G. Posted yesterday at 03:00 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 03:00 AM Not a silver oxblood IMO, Looks like a big difference between these and the eBay auction probably why it only went for $20.oo, it would be the cheapest mint shooter silver ox I've ever seen. 1

The white foggy glass reminds me of early akro though.
William Posted yesterday at 02:39 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 02:39 PM Peltier Rainbo. They're out there from peewee to biguns.... Not Akro, definitely no oxblood...
Wolf Posted yesterday at 05:50 PM Author Report Share Posted yesterday at 05:50 PM Does this sound right? "Peltier Rainbo marbles, including the larger ones (around .86 inches or 1 inch), were primarily manufactured in the period from the late 1920s through the 1940s, as Peltier stopped mass-producing marbles in the 1950s. The "foggy white glass" appearance is characteristic of their semi-opaque white base glass used in the popular National Line Rainbo (NLR) series, often referred to as "ribbon type" or "patch and ribbon" marbles."

Nothing takes the place of experience IMO. AI will never be able to say "I was there when that run happened", or "I dug that marble along with thousands of others", or "I learned firsthand about this process because I know or knew people that worked there", or "I learned something new after going to my first show", etc.. Anyway, I'll take the information and experience from these seasoned collectors here that can say that they did these things, or were with ones that did, 100 percent hands down. Artificial intelligence will never have that advantage...
