My property was a greenery many years ago and I often find marbles. This one in particular was found after digging and it looks solid until light hits it. There are air bubbles and a small flat area. Anyone know a possible age or name?

I am extremely grateful for your time and consideration!

Thank you, Sir! I'm very grateful for your expertise! I am about to post another one that you may know about! (In the coin forums you have to post for each individual coin, so I assume the same goes here.)! ❤️

Hello!

That is a clearie marble. They were made by all the companies and by the billions. Pretty much impossible to tell the age and maker. Fun to find though!

It's okay to do more than one.  Up to four is generally considered manageable.  But posting one at a time does get more individual attention, so to speak.

Welcome Dumpster Bandit! Great images you have taken. I hope you keep coming back here. People here are very nice. I often reflect on my coin show attendance and then I think back of my first marble show last April. The coin shows are sometimes about an exciting as a funeral viewing but that marble show was full of fun and laughter and chatting. The people were all a blast and to tell you the truth, I have a lot more fun with marbles and the people who collect them.

I am very happy with your images.

"Size" is always important with Marble ID--always".

There is green in this marble along with un-absorbed metallic flakes that many consider to be Aventurine.

It is not considered (Aventurine) as such by the "Seasoned Collectors".

This stuff usually shows up in a green color of any marble maker--World Wide.

You did great with the images--even a few "backlit".

Now, given that, most ID's are given over a phone today--little screen--little eyes on the marble.

I still Use a PC with a large screen that many smaller images may have missed.

I am ready to call this one a Master Made Marble--A patch--dark but very cool.

It is not a real Valuable Marble--but you represented it very well.

Thanks for that!

Marble--On!!
