  1. This is a Boyd Miller with mica in the core. It's contemporary. This is a John Gentile, also contemporary with mica on the outside. These are perfectly round, no sign of a pontil like the old Germans. I think your marble is contemporary, but not necessarily German. What makes you know or think it is German?
  2. Steph, I can't post pictures here. I'm not getting the usual things to click on. Like the little image button I used to click and post my hosted pics. Never mind Steph. I figured it out. Thanks anyway.
  3. That could be one of the American contemporaries. Are there noticeable pontils? Looks like a layer of mica on top and we have artists that can do that style. I can't see pontils on it.
  4. blue and yellow look like Akro Agate corkscrews
  5. Really nice Griff! Joseph has one of your baseball bat cases and he won't let me have it.. LOL! I have the triangular case you made and I have Alley Agates in it. I love all the creative things you do.
  6. I cannot choose 3 and leave out personal. No. 1 on my keeper list would be the marble my West Virginia friends had Julia Powell paint with Weldon's and my picture on it and our marble tree. I couldn't leave that out. And the rest would be art glass marbles I'm particularly attached to. I hope I never have to make a choice of keeping 3. While I have really nice machine mades, it's the hand mades I'd keep 3 of.
  7. Boyd Miller made some train sulfides back in the 1990's. Made the sulfides and then encased them in glass. Can't be sure this is one of them, but the figure itself looks bigger than the old ones.
  8. Parrot one inch, a smidgen of green, probably a slight mix of the blue and yellow glass being next to each other.
  9. Parrots don't always have green. Here's a pastel one. 2 marbles are one inch. These two have 2 shades of blue, yellow, and 2 shades of lavender
  10. Box of tigereyes 3/4 inch, 5/8ths inch and a few in between.
