and i would like to tell you all that there is no hurtin economy right now, lol,, its sure is nice to know i have a place to unload my many many mibs i have left and collect some bank,,, 2 flats, 1st choice went 60 bucks and down the line until roughly a grand was had , thennnnnn, they sold the remander of the mibs to a tune of 500 bucks a flat,, they were good but poor boys like me shouldnt have been there,,, 220 mile round trip, my take,, zero marbles,, i did pick up a cool wood propellar though, ,,, jeepers,,,, bj this was the only photo provided for the sale

ide say pretty hard to find, they came only in certain sets if i remember corectly, i found a set once in my travels minus the box of course but these blue bloods were in the mix,,, bj

Thank you, i did not know that either i found one one day and went on a quest to find the set, finally after about 6 months i got em and then some, it was fun looking,, but yea they are huge, i sent a set to a good friend for helping me out one time but i still have a set and a couple extra huge mibs without the holders left,,,bj primitive, yes old old, maybe used in an industial setting do to the lack of design,, furniture "ball and claw" feet had design to promote or add to the furniture's look, thats why i said primitive looking,,, bj

its a well known fact that cranberry glass was made with real gold but was dissolved in acid first,link and very expensive to make, cant see a marble company doing that on "this" type of mib, but if they used cullet, it is possible for the glitter of gold to make its way in the mix, , unless there are more examples out there of this type ide say it was an oops and most or any of the reasons you guys/gals mentioned is possible,,, bj
