  1. The left one is a Vitro Opal and the right is a Peltier Multicolor Swirl.
  2. This is a Vitro "Sweet Pea" variant, Leigh.
  3. I understand, Alan, but it's intriguing to me so I had to ask.
  4. This is interesting. Can you elaborate at all? For instance, when did this happen, how did this person get their hands on unsigned Matthews marbles, and what did they do with them?
  5. Thanks for the post, Chris - a great addition to the story!
  6. It's a one color opaque game marble. Not many are worth a thing unless you're talking old handmades or transitionals. And it's usually very difficult to ID them, since most companies made them by the railcar full.
  7. Very nice transitionals - Japan, I think. I like them, William!
  8. Nice big Vitros is what I see.
  9. The one on the left gives me a pretty strong Vitro vibe. Is it veneered? To me, it sort of looks like it. As for the one on the right, I could easily see Master. Regardless, they're both very nice marbles!
  10. I picked up this nice hand-faceted green-dyed agate at the Decatur show too.
  11. They strike me as Vitros, Tommy.
  12. Not sure I've heard the name - sounds cool though! As for AV, some of the most common I think would be Royals and Moss Agates. I have seen it on Oxblood Patches too, and it wouldn't surprise me to find some on a Tricolor.
  13. It's kind of a classic, Art, and I'm pretty confident it's an Akro Pink Champagne, I think some would call William's an Egg Yolk Pink Champagne, regardless of how well organized the corkscrew is. And I get the name thing, but this name has been around for a good long while. And I didn't name it, I'm just the messenger. πŸ™‚
  14. It's interesting how the striping appears to be more on the surface than in the glass.
  15. We are talking about William's 5th marble, right Art? It's egg yolk yellow on a champagne colored base.
