  1. As far as I know, MFC bricks are oxblood and it is also found on old German handmades like this one . . .
  2. Here is a good pic Gladys posted that shows oxblood. Once you've seen it in hand, you'll not forget it.

    I'm so proud

Well, she should not want for toys. I had a friend whose cat would sit on the back of the couch and bat a wad of paper you pitched to her. She would do it for like an hour, and she never missed. Her name was Babe.
  4. Not oxblood or Akro - maybe Heaton.
  5. They are not rare and most folks would consider it as-made damage.
  6. Go to the search bar (magnifying glass icon) and search "Moody blue", in quotes, or check the HTF and rare marbles page here.
  7. I think a lot of the specks are dirty hit marks.
  8. This is a Rainbo, not a Moody Blue. Moody Blues have a muddy orangish base glass.

    A strange one

That first one might be a Whispler. And you sure did find a Vitro Tiger Eye too.
  10. They are VHS tapes. I think I've seen some sell on ebay before though. I don't think anyone has digitized them, but I am not certain about that.
  11. That does suggest pre-1940 then.
  12. Believe it or not, I still watch the videos occasionally. lol
  13. Great marbles. I have been after one of the hand-ground ones for a very long time. It seems like the older I get the further I gravitate towards non-glass marbles.
  14. Looks it to me. Definitely not MFC.
  15. I do think the middle one might be Campion.
  16. I think you're safe with Alley on #1 and #3.
