There is an Alley Bacon Swirl but this is much better - Alley Superman.

    Alley from St. Mary's.
  3. Nice Rick. I like those trays too.
  4. Not a 7-up on the left, IMO - they have a transparent green base. This looks like a Holly Berry. I agree on the MK though.

    Pelt ?

    Vitro is my guess.

    Pelt ?

I'm thinking Vitro - reminds me of a Tomato - Vitro that is.
  7. You probably say that to all your marbles. lol

    Vacor

Here is an old post with some that look pretty much like it . . .

    Vacor

We need the Marble Queen @Steph !
  10. I didn't even read it that way, Gladys! When I think of wonky, I think of a one-off - a real oddball, and I'm not convinced that is what my marble is. I just think it's unusual, and as I said, I am surprised I haven't seen others like it. Now this, this is WONKY . . . lol

Might be an old-style Hurricane? I don't know Vacors that well.

Is that mib as out of round as it appears in pics 3 & 4. It's a crazy looking Vacor - almost looks like someone torched. it.
  13. I'm pretty sure these are German and I think they're kinda cool . . . The biggest (first) one is 7/8". The two on the right almost look like they were floating is some junk in the kiln.
  14. I think the only MK I have seen with seams this offset is one of those crazy dug swirls.
  15. Wow, the seller apparently misplaced them or dropped the box in the middle of the road.
  16. Nice! At over 1 1/4" I'd say that big one probably is MFC. Looks like you got a decent little Christmas Tree too.

Champion probably produced more swirls than any company other than Alley and yet we rarely see marbles identified as such, unless they're the bicentennial, NOFs or Furnace mibs. I think it's because we just don't know alot about their early production.
  18. Yeah, wonky MKs aren't so uncommon, but this one doesn't seem so wonky to me, just unusual. And I can't believe I haven't seen others like it. It's pretty back-lit but kinda dull in-hand.
  19. Red clay body with a glazed white painted slip. It's unusual, at least for me, haven't seen one quite like it. It'll be interesting to hear what others have to say.
  20. Another excellent example with great marbles! I am liking the green/lavender examples upper right too.
