  1. Happy Peltier Tuesday! A little miscellany to start things off . . .
  2. It's a great question. I really haven't heard much, if any, discussion about marbles produced in India. But I sure would like to learn more so I hope you get some responses. It would be great if your friend could send you pics of any interesting marbles they see so you can show them here. Maybe we can all learn something!
  3. Thanks for setting me straight, Ron, I thought I might screw it up. So no name we for the brownish ones with purple/brown ribbons?
  4. It's attractive and I don't think it's a JABO Classic. It might be from one of the investor runs but I'm getting a bit of a Vacor vibe - maybe an earlier one?
  5. I have always wondered about the name on these. You can find red, orange and this brownish color base. But the only names I know of are "Wasp" (red) and "Tiger" (orange). Hopefully, someone will make sure I have those names right and maybe know a name for the brown ones.
  6. Thanks Dave, I was pretty stoked when I found them in a big collection. The MK four colors aren't so easy to find.
  7. It's always nice to come across marbles you don't often find!

    Akro?

    I'm with Vitro too.
  9. Pretty sure the lower left is JABO and that the others could be one of a few different company's.
  10. It could be a relative, it's just very very unusual. We'll have to see what others think.
  11. It reminds me of a Spotted Dick but it's not one.
  12. Wow, that certainly is unusual. Are you sure it's glass?
  13. I think the top white-based one is probably Alley. The others could be Heaton. The middle marble in the other group looks Champion to me, and I would not guess Heaton on the top one. The others may or may not be Heatons.
  14. I don't think any of the newer MKs like these have a name, and black ones are very common.
  15. A couple of old four color cat's eyes and what I think is a very unusual three color red cross-through in the middle . . .
  16. It's a good looking board, Joep. I imagine it's pretty hefty too.
  17. There is no way my wife would share the house with the flapper leg, even though she does love the movie - just not her aesthetic. lol

    .58 swirl

I think Alley is most likely.
  19. I think the patches are MK and the last ones are JABOs. I am leaning JABO on the other swirls too.
  20. Some slags and most transparent WV Swirls can be near impossible to ID unless there is something distinctive about their color or pattern. This one doesn't have any distinctive features that I recognize so the best ID you'll likely get is, "maybe a . . .".

    Pelt Rainbo

There are 'bos with silver/gray ribbons, and Zebras with black ribbons so it seems like . . .maybe?
