  1. I agree that the first 15 are Veiligglas - some nice ones in there too. Number 16 looks like a German striped transparent type. Number 17 looks European - a compressed sparkler type? And if number 18 is not a Peltier Rainbo it sure is an amazing replica.

    ID on this one

It looks like a transparent Rainbo to me.
  3. I believe It does seem like an astonishing price for a Vacor. I think the seller is a fairly new member here - maybe he will have some insight.
  4. It was a dandy when it was new - that's for sure!
  5. Nice big one, Art! You're right those are none too common.

    Alley

I think the definition of a flame has evolved from three stacked tips to five.
  7. Looks like a fun variety to play with!

    Metallic

Many, but not all, are Champion. I've seen blue and metallic on Alleys and Ravenswoods too.
  9. Sweet Peas are opaque with red/pink and yellow with a green base - the OP isn't one. Black-eyed Peas have black and yellow with a green base.

    Alley

Not a "Flame" in my book, but calling it "flamey" is okay by me.
  11. I do think Art Fisher was a sort of glass magician. It's amazing how he would use just a tiny bit of colored glass under a white patch with a clear base and make the marble look like it had a colored transparent base.

    Vitro

Regardless, it's an uncommon and very desirable trait on a Tri-Lite.
  13. Nice swirls, Tommy. To me, 2-3 are clear based - the others are transparent, but colored.
  14. Nice marbles, Art. I'm thinking the first is an Alley and the second is a really dandy Heaton.

    Slag

    I could see MFC too.

    Alley

    I'll agree with Alley.

    Vitro

I think it would be a TriLite

    Metallic

    I'd guess Alley.
  19. Probably Alley but it could be any one of several manufacturer's.
