I think this is Vacor Morgan. And the green one with yellow and orange is probably a Dragon - not Turtle. Sorry for the mix-up.

    One Pontil

Grenier's have ground faceted pontils, while Navarre's are melted. At least that is my understanding.
  5. I think the bubbly black ones may be Bogards.

    One Pontil

It might be Navarre, but I think it could be an earlier German.
  7. Given the size, I'd lean Alley too, but I certainly see what Roberto is looking at as well - it'd be an unusually big one though.

And #1 may be a Turtle?
  9. Nice pieces, William. I like them best when they let a little light through!
  10. Very nice mibs, Brad! The sideways pics are a little odd though. You and William starting a club or something? lol.
  11. Nice, Art, a marble for everybody - thick and full coverage on one side, thin and sparse coverage on the other. Myself, I like the last two views.

#s 1 & 5 are Vacor. #6 looks Asian, #3 is from a JABO investor's run, #4 might be Vitro but could use another view or two, and not sure about #2 - more views might help.
  13. One of my favorite pieces . . . I think it's a powder. It's about 3 1/2" in diameter and 2 3/4" tall.
  14. I don't think most people would say it's three colors.
  15. I forgot to ask . . . does anyone know what the middle one is called?
  16. Wow, That's an beautiful marble!
  17. Nice marbles, Dave - the second one is really great!
  18. Great group of marbles, Gladys, and your photos are sooo good!
  19. It just keeps getting better, Joep!
  20. That is a super marble, Bill - the orange peel is great! It's like 1 1/4" too, isn't it?
  21. Bullet molds are historically associated with Czechoslovakia (the Czech Republic or Slovakia now). Here's an old one . . . I have no idea who might be making them now though.
  22. You did it, Art! And I'll bet you're glad you did. I'm jealous now because I want a try too!
