  1. I think the top white-based one is probably Alley. The others could be Heaton. The middle marble in the other group looks Champion to me, and I would not guess Heaton on the top one. The others may or may not be Heatons.
  2. I don't think any of the newer MKs like these have a name, and black ones are very common.
  3. A couple of old four color cat's eyes and what I think is a very unusual three color red cross-through in the middle . . .
  4. It's a good looking board, Joep. I imagine it's pretty hefty too.
  5. There is no way my wife would share the house with the flapper leg, even though she does love the movie - just not her aesthetic. lol

    .58 swirl

I think Alley is most likely.
  7. I think the patches are MK and the last ones are JABOs. I am leaning JABO on the other swirls too.
  8. Some slags and most transparent WV Swirls can be near impossible to ID unless there is something distinctive about their color or pattern. This one doesn't have any distinctive features that I recognize so the best ID you'll likely get is, "maybe a . . .".

    Pelt Rainbo

There are 'bos with silver/gray ribbons, and Zebras with black ribbons so it seems like . . .maybe?

    Pelt Rainbo

This one is similar in structure . . . Sorta cat's eye looking and disappearing vanes.
  11. My preference is one that can report fractional inches. Unfortunately, most of these will report to 1/128ths inch increments, which is way too precise for marbles, IMO. Vintage American marbles were sized in 1/16 inch increments so, for example, any marble that would fall through a 5/8" hole but would not pass through a 9/16" hole would be sold as a No. 0. Any marble that would pass through an 11/16" hole but not a 5/8" hole was a No. 1, etc. And I can think of no case where a 1/32" difference in a marble's size would definitively change its ID.
  12. That color on a Pelt would be very rare, IMO.
  13. Way to go, Dave! I am with you two, not me, not in this lifetime.
  14. I'm leaning towards a JABO Classic too.
  15. That's a nice marble, Art! And you are right, opaque Masters are hard to find at that size.
  16. This is a great Vitro! I really like them with a lot of transparent glass.
  17. Not an American marble. I think it is a Vacor from Mexico but not sure of the name.
  18. Another Akro, I think.
