  1. The best part is that I was lucky enough to dig these up myself!
  2. Given that most people in 1912 were probably making 35-40 cents an hour, those were some mighty fine marbles, for sure.

    MK

Maybe it's not new at all, I was not aware there was a similar marble apparently made much earlier. Thanks for the info, Steph!
  4. The lamp was an unbelievably kind gift from Joep, and it fits in on my dresser like it was made to order . . . I could not be happier. Also included in the package were the bullet mold marbles you see and a whole bunch of really great examples of Vacor marbles - an awesome retirement gift. Thank you so much Joep!
  5. Nice mibs, William. It would be nice to see a few more shots of this ^ one. That blue/green swirl is really nice, Dave!

    Let's go with "Blue Boy".
  7. Correction, I think it's a "Golden Boy". Sorry Darryl, I'm really bad with names.
  8. The only other possibility I can think of is a JABO investors run. There was a run that made some very similar.
  9. I'm thinking an Akro Milky Oxblood.

    Alley ?

    Another possibility might be Champion.

    MK

It's newer and I think it has a name but I forget what it is - you might find it in the MK Monday thread though.

    Akro ?

I can see why. I'd guess Akro or Vitro - leaning Vitro.

    Clearies

I'm pretty sure Pelt made clearies but I am not sure there's a good way to tell them from any other cleary.
  14. I just deleted about 3 pages of old messages, I think that might help. lol

    MK Cat ?

Not as HTF as four colors but certainly not easy to find either. I think I have three of them.

    .62 Slag

If there is glass missing, it's damage. Marbles are meant to roll true and every company tried to make them as perfectly round as they could. No kid would buy a marble that wouldn't roll straight.
