  1. Nice - the blue ox are great!
  2. Given the two-patch structure, rather than patch and ribbons, I would say that MK is the newer style. And that first marble is pretty cool - kinda messy, but cool, for sure.
  3. I'm getting a Vitro vibe from the first one, but it'd be a bit of an oddball - maybe a cosmic rainbow??? The second looks foreign to me and the third does look MK.
  4. It sort of looks like there might be two ribbons running together on one side of the first marble - like maybe one under the other. Weird stuff like that happens on Pelts some times.
  5. I'd say there's a good chance it's from Sistersville.
  6. It's a WV Swirl. I would say Heaton or Cairo but . . . ?
  7. What about these, one page up? 😉 The middle three look related, for sure. Is yours 11/16" too?
  8. This is a dandy marble. I have a general rule . . . if you find a Tri-lite with good black on it - keep it! They aren't that easy to come by.
  9. For comparison, most of these are Tri-lites.
  10. It's a good question. We'll may need @wvrons or @Nantucketdink for this one. Here's a few nice 1" Classics to ponder while we wait.
  11. So am I, Chuck, because I certainly don't have the information. Honestly, I am not even sure if this would be considered "real" oxblood, which is why I generally refer to it as "poxblood" (pelt oxblood, I think the first time I heard the term was from Al). Regardless, if it's not "real" oxblood, it sure can look close to it. What do you know about Pelt and oxblood? This one seems to have the dark red stuff too.
  12. Vacor quality has improved in the past 10 years, as far as the orange peel texture goes, and it was/is always more prominent on the larger marbles.
  13. The colors on the early Vitros are some of the most vivid around, and there are endless varieties. I really like them, in general.
  14. No photos showing for me in your last two posts.
  15. Looking closer, I might see what Ron sees here. Do those little green-looking "flecks" sparkle when you shine a bright light on it?
  16. Single colors are pretty tough to ID. Lots of folks made a "Vaseline" type marble, but the yellow (as opposed to green) fluorescence seems unusual.
  17. Looks like it could be, but I expect a more pastel tone of purple on Lilacs. Have you tried backing your camera away a bit? Some of the pics seem a little out of focus.
  18. It looks like it to me.
  19. It's not ringing a vintage bell for me.
  20. I think it's a Vitro, but it looks a little newer than a Tri-lite, at least to me.
