It's a beauty, and very unusual. Good luck finding a mint one. The challenge will be that if an Akro collector ever sees one, they're going to buy it - you're going to need some extraordinary luck!

It was a marble that @Fire1981 posted on Thursday that yours reminded me of. I think yours is probably a JABO Classic - now I'm wondering about Fire's marble too.

I think it's a JABO Classic. They occasionally get that corkscrew-like pattern - we call them Jorkscrews.

I agree it's contemporary. It's a pretty chunk of glass, what size is it? I assume you looked for a makers mark?

@The Nickel Guy I think you took Art the wrong way. I can guarantee he was not accusing you of deception. He was just letting you know that "tweaked" photos can often make it more difficult to accurately ID a marble. So many of these crazy marbles are so similar to one another that an "unnatural" photo can send us down the wrong path. In fact, I often tell people to be sure their photos actually look like the marble in-hand before they post them. 🙂

I think I see what you're seeing but it's hard to tell - this dirty boy could really use a bubble bath!

I think the lower left may be Ravenswood. The others do look mostly Alley to me. The lower right one is my favorite, I'm about 60% Alley / 40% Ravenswood for that one.

I could see it - looking at the right edge of the bag, I may detect a fold line, which would make it fit. But @akroorka Is the go to person around here for Akro bag questions. I'll bet he'll have some thoughts.

From the look of the seams, I think it might be a Peltier Dragon, but I can see why you might think MK Watermelon. Let's see what others say.

Nice mibs . . . If you look at the right marble in pics 1 and 3, you can see that there is a red strand running from pole to pole deep in the transparent patch. And in pics 2 and 4 you can see it surfacing at one of the seams.
