i will also pony up some marbles. wont be crazy nice or rare marbles but i will send a bunch of different types. all the winner has to do is win and forward me their mailing address. FREE MARBLES ARE MY FAVORITE KIND. DON'T LOOK A GIFT MARBLE IN THE MOUTH. THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH A FREE MARBLE IS THAT IT ISN'T PLURAL.

people like different marbles. i like akro and master, hard to find these days in my price range plus wet mint ones are harder to find. the other old vintage companies are about the same. no more will be made ever from the companies. marble king and jabo are nice too. the older marble king are nice. the newer ones are ok but are still being produced and as said before they are mostly collected and not played with so there are more mint ones for your collecting pleasure. the newer runs of jabo just keep getting better and better but there are more nice ones available than the older stuff simply due to the fact that they are made for collectors and not young kids. vacor, imperial, and all others come next to me. i couldn't tell a fake if it bit me. but i like the vintage marbles. there may have been more made but most have been lost and/or damaged so if you can find some of them (akro, mfc, cac, master, master glass, pelt, alley, kokomo, jackson, ravenswood, davis, cairo, heaton, bogard, vitro, higher-end champion, early mk, and the other rarer companies) buy them. in the end they will hold their value and their collectabilty will go up. just my opinion.

bubba is on top of things. the red and yellow one i would like to look at.

will they all have a Mike Rowe Dirty Jobs tag with them from now on?

For those of you that think only patches were found during the Big Dig, with all due respect you have been mislead. some of the mibs that came up out of that ground were extremely rare. anyone lucky enough to meet a man named Tom from Clarksburg at the sistersville show you would have seen examples of the rarest, less than what you can count on your hand are known to be owned. but many other types were found. actually the holes were named for what was being found in them. it was really neat. also the placement where you think the dig took place...way off. I was very lucky to be able to be there for that. I learned alot and met the "guys". I know some may think that this is slightly vague. that was done on purpose. But please do believe me....The big dig brought up patches and almost every other type. as for those awesome slags...those are older marbles and were not found in great numbers due to the older stuff being city property stuff. LOL at tomb raiding. you seriously think that digging up discarded marbles is the same as digging up holy ground and desecrating a grave? That might be why you do not get the full reports. As for what is going on today......well thats between us tomb raiders. I guess.

check for the "9" pattern on it. if you find one it may be a MFC.

In my opinion you should sell them all at once. That way you sell them all and this shipping and handling part on your end would be small. Just my opinion though. I sell sometimes. :computer-17:
