  1. Looking forward to seeing the exhibit during the KC Marble Show in March.
  2. I'll stop by Friday evening and then I'll be set up at the show on Saturday. I'm in town starting tomorrow night for a conference, so if anyone is interested in sitting in on my presentation later in the week on setting up an online Medical Assistant school, let me know LOL~!
  3. As Steph points out, you need to get the jewel tray to put these in and then they are much easier to handle and stack. There is also a carrying bag that the trays will slide into for easier transport. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=jewelry+tray+carrying+case
  4. Bump. Coming up this weekend. http://www.marblemeet.com
  5. I think it is the second half of the 1940s. There would not have been game production during WW2 as all resources in England were devoted to the war effort.
  6. Room block closes tomorrow, Saturday September 23. Make your reservations using the link above for the discounted room rate
  7. Cut-off for the discounted room rate is this Friday. Click here for a reservation: https://www.radisson.com/reservation/itineraryEntrance.do?hotelCode=USACRCT&promotionalCode=MARBLE
  8. 38th Northeast Marble Meet coming up on Columbus Day weekend. If you need room reservations you have to make them in the next few days. Auction catalogue up in a day or so Full info at http://www.marblemeet.com
  9. I get folks sending me texts all the time requesting identification. I was stumped by this one today :-)
  10. And the blue one up there bears the telltale marks of being hit with a countersink tool. I forget who was doing that back in the 80s and early 90s to make them look old, someone in Virginia or Tennessee I think. Kentucky maybe.
  11. Wow, guess I have to break out my early 1980s contemporaries. I had them stored away and it looks like the market finally caught up to them.
  12. LOL. I do the same thing sometimes with signatures I'm not used to seeing. I'll look at it and look at it, and it will be indecipherable. And then I'll turn the signature around and thunk, open palm slapping forehead.
  13. I'm assuming these are made in China as well :-)
  14. Wouldn't accept my password so I had to reset it. Then it took me to the Profile, then all was well
  15. Doug Sweet. Rotate the image with the signature 180 degrees and you'll see Sweet
  16. Area code was 541, don't know anything beyond that.
  17. As some of you know, I get texts from people with images of marbles to be identified. Got this image over the weekend from a guy who wanted them identified and said he found these while looking in dumpsters for pop cans. After I identified them for him the text exchange went: Him: Oh man thats awesome I found them last night when I was going canning free pop cans I found them in a dumpster thats really cool Me: You're kidding! You found them in a dumpster???? Him: Yep no joking I was looking for pop cans and I found them in the dumpster among some other cool things that might be worth money
  18. pretty much the same 4 or 5 ebay userids bidding on each one. And a couple of them have feedback in the thousands. So, I'm not quite sure what to make of that bidding.
  19. I love Bills stuff. Great artist!
  20. Royal!! Glad to see you around. Everyone's great, but my dad is getting pretty old.
  21. Michael Colhill is still around?
  22. As sclsu said, look like mostly Vitros there
  23. So, how was the walkthrough traffic? I've noticed it's been down at a couple of the shows I've been to this year.
