I swear I just saw these beauties last weekend! Some amazing marbles in this collection! It was a pleasure to meet you by the way!

I would like to see what everyone's thoughts are on what makes a good marble show. I know for some it may be the in-room trading. For others, it may be the show day itself. Maybe it is the camaraderie and socialization aspect. What does it for you? What would you like to see added to the itinerary of a marble show? What is your favorite thing about a marble show? Well, Mr. Dave - how the heck are ya?? Hope all is well my friend! Yes, this box went pretty high and will undoubtedly be very difficult to backfill with anything other than repro inserts. Still a great box!

Very rare box indeed. If it had the inserts and marbles it would go for almost $8,000.00.

Has anyone considered that it may be time to lock and possibly even remove this thread? Those who have chosen to respond (albeit positively or negatively) have done so now and we are now left with this very lengthy thread that provides no real value to the passion of marble collecting. For the record - I think the food was GREAT this year at the banquet. Kudos to Gary and Judy for putting on one heck of a show! Can't wait for next year's!
